I fiddled around with the system for half an hour, and then to my intense surprise I found that I must've made some change in System Settings because now pressing control twice brings up dictation perfectly. I am amazed. It goes to prove it fiddling with the system, even when you don't know what you're doing will sometimes bring results. Peter F J -- The address shown on this posting is false.
