(I nearly labelled this 'OT' but don't think it is really - YMMV.)

I came across this yesterday in the context of Linux desktops, and took a
while to realise it's an open-source fork of BeOS.

There was a LOT of coverage of BeOS at the point when it looked like a strong
contender for Apple's next OS.

Anyway, anyone tried it? Mainly runs on x86 I think, so might be something to
try on an older Mac??

(I still have my original BeOS CD somewhere, though didn't have a suitable
machine to try it on at the time.)
