The problem with random number generators is that it's hard to tell if they are random. It's a technical joke, CHimp and I KNOW you don't get it! Sheesh, what a loser. What is funny is that you think that I am writing fantasy but HVAC is 100% truth in your world. I suggest you find someone with an actual education and science knowledge like say Looperji and get a second opinion!

Thanks for the clarification, BenjJi. I got a minor detail wrong. O well.
When I was writing that, I was recalling, was it Yang or Mills? I went Yang.
Since I got that detail wrong, I now recant anything nice I said of you. Adieu!
I love QM/QED/QCD. I have never earned money off of said knowledge. Rusty now.
Stuff like: The probability of an electron being really anywhere is finite.
Dr. JAW: All the electrons in the Universe is just one electron. Moving very fast!

He he... Ok.
Then why not go spar in secret somewhere, you CloakedGuys?!

Closed Networks, Small Cliques, ..., Secret Societies, Freemasons' 33. O(y)e.
Once at University of Pennsylvania, my girlfriend and I were walking to dinner.
Suddenly, this elderly Orthodox Jew came running out and asked for help.
Excitedly he pointed out, it's the Sabbath (Saturday) and we can't do
any work. Please help. Sure, I agreed. He walked us into a long dinner
hall full of 30+ others all in black dresses, the men with beards.
Over back there, he said. We think there's a gas leak and this whole
building's gonna blow! Help. I spoke, so you thought, it was ok for
you to risk mine and my girlfriend's life because it's against your
religion to do any work from Friday night through Sabbath Saturday?!
I tried to give a physics lesson, hey you know running is work?
He didn't laugh. Not even a condescending Orthodox smirk. Fix gas leak, please.
I went into this dark basement, alone. Checked around. There was no
gas leak. My then girlfriend did start calling me MacGyver after that.
Now she doesn't call me for time of day. Whatever will be, will be...

There really is no sane reason why every book can't be available in digital form.

I remember working at/under NASA GSFC. The first week, they insisted
we all sign a legal contract, assigning NASA all rights to any inventions
we might make. Else, you're on the street in 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, ... seconds.
What's it gonna be boy|girl? Yes or No? I can wait ten seconds. Sign!
I prefer the word diatribe, not whine. I'm just highlighting a fact.
It's inhumane to work people like machines. I was really glad when I
was let go and found a job that paid the same and I had to do near
nothing. I could watch and advise. But no computer access was granted
to me while waiting for the GMICKs to complete their background
security clearance checks of me. They did actually interview my
neighbours, who I hardly knew. Or they I. What could they say? His
name is Mahipal, did not know that. He does work on his yard a lot.

Sometimes I tell my kids to listen to certain songs. They often do.
I never tell them what not to listen to, well not directly. Also,
modern kids listen to music via private headphones. Not like the good
old days, when we'd blast the music on maximum volume of loud speakers.

That's too frightening! But I gather your gist, BenjJi. Physics is a
niche market, small audience. Pop TV physics is just CGI. Atoms, gas
clouds, strings, explosions, lots of KaBooms, wildAssClaims, spinning
black holes, floating clouds of random inapplicable equations...
overblown hype of persistently worshipping of ...youKnow, The OneStone.
I still watch. Much like gas, Time's gotta pass. S(y)ndrome.
This leads to me m(y) latest new theory: Time Is Gaseous (TM, SM, and BMW).
Example of wildAssClaims: It's amazing how well we know what happened
3 seconds after the Big Bang! It's so exciting, I can't contain myself!
Yet I have no fashion sense and can't ever find matching socks to wear.
Used to be a time, most authors had *.edu email addresses. The good old days.
Nobody expects a dissertation detail to be discussed here. Most physcists
are too paranoid to do that anyway, worried Mahipal will steal their formulas.

Nondeterministic polynomial (NP) time versus polynomial time (P)...
That NP=P kind of math problem is above my skill level. I think it was
discussed a lot in my CFD class. I shrugged it off as ...interesting.
Just like FLT (Fermat's Last Theorem), that Dr. Andrew Wiles resolved back in
the day I was a graduate student at Princeton. MathHeads were thrilled!
No, not because I was there, because of Dr. Wiles's proof. Be real, not silly.
I never did get to attend any seminar/lecture Dr. Wiles might have held.
To this day, I wonder if there have been any practical applications of FLT's proof.

HVAC just watches football, the USA variety only. World Champions! USA!
I once came close to seeing Roger play at Wimbledon, 2012 Olympics.
Took my kids. Had planned only two days in London. Last time I went to
Wimbledon, I bought tickets at the counter. Saw Jimmy Conners, John
McEnroe, others. Not Bjorn. The tennis star Borg, not them aliens of Star
Trek. Pay attention. So I planned to do the same. There wasn't a ticket
counter for sales anymore! They said, buy off the internet. Got site?
Nope. Never got to buy any tickets. Toured Big Ben area instead.
Funny part? When I watched it on TV, the seats were extremely empty.
They Brits bused in students and soldiers to fill the seats next day.
The tennis players had complained it was no fun playing without an audience.
Besides, I'd rather watch Federer on HDTV, slow motion replays. WOW!

It was Professor Mills who got me convinced that QM is the science of

can do is calculate some probabilities. No wonder it drove Einstein
nuts! But everyone pretends like everything is known.

Imaginary Jewish gas leak? Oye. Truly strange story. Once upon a time I
worked in area 10. (and you thought there was only area 51, right?) one
of the guys in the group was Jewish. He was sort of big jovial guy who
kind of reminded you of Schultz on Hogan's Heroes (yeah I know it's a
weird analogy) Anyway he just came back from Israel and was complaining
about orthodox practices (he wasn't very religious) and naturally we all
got around to the subject of work on the Sabbath. In particular, how one
can take a healthy dump on the Sabbath and wipe your own butt. He
explained that no, they did not have goy ass-wipes there for the
orthodox, BUT Friday evening he said they'd come round and tear off
lengths of toilet paper and place them in baskets in the bathrooms.
Obviously some physics lessons were needed. I guess you'll need to
query Hanson for more information.

Yes there is. There is just something special about a REAL book. One you
can snuggle up with and learn the secrets of the Mills conjecture or
something. A computer, even a tablet is just not the same. Just call me

Oh maple looperji! You are so self-defeating. Grasshopper, remember that
quote from "the art of war" where all battles are won in the minds of
the combatants before the battle ever starts. Now retract that "above my
skill level" nonsense. Fermat could just about solve his in the margin

Anybody ever look at the picture of the Interplanetary Magnetic Field? A HUGE spiralling wave system like a whirlpool. One of those is around EVERY STAR. Now, I know you think BH's came about by a whole lot of matter collapsing into a hugely-gravitational tiny, tiny Spot, and that's why we don't see anything there, but galaxies, also, must also be surrounded by their own version of the IMF. Their centres may attract not because of any matter there, but because the Space around that point is like a giant magnetic whirlpool. There isn't actually ANY matter there. It spins too fast at the Center.

HVAC The VLA that spotted that magnetic arc rising at right angles to the Milky Way pretty much sealed the deal for me. When they get a good look at the galactic Center, they will see.......nothing.

Poor John says HVAC The VLA that spotted that magnetic arc rising at right angles to the Milky Way pretty much sealed the deal for me. When they get a good look at the galactic Center, they will see.......nothing. ----------- You're right on accident. The center of our galaxy is a black hole which by it's very nature is unseeable. If you meant ANYTHING ELSE, you're wrong. And we have gotten a good look near the center of our galaxy. We see stars orbiting a mass about a couple million times the mad of our sun. Your explanation is...?
