So let's see, the highest rate shown in prototype is 167 Wh/l which means you would need over 132 gallons just to match the capacity of a tesla battery. Perhaps twice that if you need a liter of each fluid for the 167 Wh. Now once you factor in the added weigh, toxic chemicals, protection from crashes you will have a multiton car that might get 50 miles in range. Now given that the flow rate of a gasoline pump is less than 10 gallons per minute....anyone care to tell us how long it would take you to fill up after driving your 50 miles? Yes, it would be silly to build a vehicle around the *PROTOTYPE* that hasn't been optimized, scaled, refined, and put into mass production yet. Yea, and unless they can get an amazing increase in power output, you're never going to produce a road worthy car that can use that technology. So, since that's where they are at in the labs NOW.....we can figure probably another 10 years at least until they get it good enough in the lab, then they have to manage to deal with all the issues and get it into a commercial stage THEN you have to establish the infrastructure to support it. So let's say 30 years? Hmmm.... That sounds like decades to me, and here you're claiming it's just a matter of years until people are driving such cars. --- This email has been checked for viruses by AVG. https://www.avg.com
