Now isn’t this interesting. https://www.aanda.org/articles/aa/pdf/2011/02/aa14968-10.pdf Results. We found a period in multi-frequency total flux-density light curves of 7.9 ± 0.5 yrs. Moreover, a quasi-stationary jet component C1 follows a prominent helical path on a similar timescale of eight years. We have also found that the average instantaneous speeds of the jet components show a clear helical pattern along the jet with a characteristic scale of 3 mas. Taking into account average speeds of jet components, this scale corresponds to a timescale of about 7.7 years. Jet precession can explain the helical path of the quasi-stationary jet component C1 and the periodical modulation of the total flux-density light curves. We have fitted a precession model to the trajectory of the jet component C1, with a viewing angle φ0 = 2.6◦ ± 2.2◦, aperture angle of the precession cone Ω = 23.9◦ ± 1.9◦ and fixed precession period (in the observers frame) P = 7.9 yrs.

And you consider this notable, why? GR predicts accretion disk precession if the disk rotational axis is not the same as that of the black hole. The jets follow the disk's axis at the time of emission. Do take note that nothing ever gets all retarded and precesses 360 degrees in aa 2:1 ratio or anything dumb like that. The disk precession is usually a dozen or so degrees, like a wobbly top.

MM “take note that nothing ever gets all retarded and precesses 360 degrees in aa 2:1 ratio or anything dumb like that. The disk precession is usually a dozen or so degrees, like a wobbly top. ” How have you seen this?

Including some posted here by yourself as you yelled "Look!!! Precessing spinny things!!!"

MM “I have seen many articles on corkscrew jets from AGN and quasars that mention the precession of the accretion disk causing it. Including some posted here by yourself as you yelled "Look!!! Precessing spinny things!!!" ” Mmm hmmm. Nobody has seen up close what’s happening. Some people seem to reject the idea that the whole disc rotates AND precesses, for some reason. I guess cause they were told that’s impossible and they believe everything they’re told. Baaaa!!

Quasars have no special place... Science cannot have it both ways. Quasars are not an universal edge. Science has known there is no center for there to be any edge...??? Quasars are equally distributed and have a cosmic distance redshift everywhere and a maximum gravitational redshift by their most massive Neutronium core. God creates gravity.
