Bullshit, Jim, that is not what Dr. Saykally said at all! JMcG: I quoted his exact words. Your interpretation is not any better than your hypothesis. He said he didn't find *your* alternative convincing. There is no indication that he considered my hypothesis. Pnal: He said that your argument was impossible. JMcG: Even though he never said that I do think it reasonablevto assume He in no way admitted that he did have any evidence, you idiot, the man has published 704 papers about water, to date!

Of course, there is... again... https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/sci.physics/catCSHRs2Ns%5B1-25%5D "Jim....To be frank and honest I think that you are wasting your time on these arguments. There are no mysteries about the hydrogen bond in water, or in other systems. It is the old language and the oversimplified level of your argument (sorry) that causes the confusion. Modern chemistry treats hydrogen bonding quantum mechanically (ab initio quantum mechanics), and makes highly detailed predictions about hydrogen bonding in water that have been verified by spectroscopy experiments to very high numerical precision. There are indeed several phenomena involving water that are not yet satisfactorily explained, but these are a result of the statistical fluctuations that occur in the liquid, and rare events that are very difficult to model. Have a look at my pub list for some recent papers on this. But the nature of hydrogen bonding and surface tension are really quite well understood." See, THAT's how you quote someone. > Pnal: > He said that your argument was impossible. > > JMcG: > Even though he never said that I do think it reasonablevto assume Well, it is pretty easy to determine that he does not think much or your theory and tells you that you are wasting your time. You should have just taken his advice and forgotten the entire farce that you have created. Now you have painted yourself into a corner and are too stubborn to admit that you have been a complete failure in this endeavor. > He in no way admitted that he did not have any evidence, you idiot, the man has published 704 papers about water, to date!

Saykally: "Jim....To be frank and honest I think that you are wasting your time on these arguments. There are no mysteries about the hydrogen bond in water, JMcG: Saykally is either lying or he is supremely confused. The anomalies of H2O are a genuine mystery and they are a direct consequence of misunderstandings about the nature of hydrogen bonding in water. See Pauling's Omission on YouTube for details. Saykally proved himself either incompetent on that subject, lazy, or both. And you too proved yourself incompetent and desperate in that you failed to discuss any of the substance of the argument (the subject of which is way, way over your head).

You can bluff and deflect all you want, Jim, but you are fooling no one but yourself. You are the incompetent one here, not Dr. Saykally, a highly revered professor and author of 704 published papers about water. Unless and until you can provide evidence for you pitiful claims, you've got no bragging rights whatsoever. As always, put up or shut up.

Pnal: Dr. Saykally, a highly revered professor JMcG: The problem is that reverence is not just part of your argument. It is your whole argument. Neither you nor Saykally has any kind of substantive dispute with anything I'm saying. Stop being so desperate.

McGinn is a fibbin flounder on hot sidewalk,
a fibbin, an a flippin and a floppin,
his one fish eye open,
McGinn's brain squeeks "somethin wrong here!"
while McDenk says "McGinn is a floundering fibber!"
someone wrap up this dead fish quick!

Like I said, this statement from Saykally proves that either he is a liar or confused. We already have a plethora of data that proves that the current model is wrong or incomplete at best. This data is generally referred to as the anomalies of H2O. Look it up. Are You Confused About Hydrogen Bonding In Water? https://youtu.be/RfNuWJDJvRw James McGinn / Solving Tornadoes

MM: And his exact words were: "The way our business works is that one who argues that a given model is incorrect and proposes a new one to replace it must also propose an experimental test that can clearly evidence the claims." JMcG: The larger truth you are all missing is that science is supposed to be about open minded weighing for truth, not about defending intellectual territory so that it is impermeable to assault by reason. Saykally is part of a failing paradigm and failing paradigms always play defense.

More deflecting from Jim McGinn, because he has no evidence for his extraordinary claim!

Like I said, this statement from Saykally proves that either he is a liar or confused. We already have a plethora of data that proves that the current model is wrong or incomplete at best. This data is generally referred to as the anomalies of H2O. Look it up. Are You Confused About Hydrogen Bonding In Water? https://youtu.be/RfNuWJDJvRw Its interesting how we have a university professor telling blatant lies. We have all these science groupies here telling lie after lie and making claims that they fail to substatiate over and over again and there are no consequences. They never change or learn. The more lies they tell the more conviction the have to tell the next lie and the more support they get from their fellow trolls.

Dr. Saykally is unlikely to be the confused individual here... after all, Jim, you don't even know who *you* are... We already have a plethora of data that proves that the current model is wrong or incomplete at best. And yet you cannot provide any links to this data! Why is that, Jim? This data is generally referred to as the anomalies of H2O. Look it up. OK, here you are... https://tinyurl.com/y7y5akg6 ... kindly point out the most relevant links... > Its interesting how we have a university professor telling blatant lies. Any lies that you perceive are only in your deluded mind... and your use of apostrophes is atrocious. We have all these science groupies here telling lie after lie and making claims that they fail to substatiate... The only one here failing to substantiate their claims is YOU... but then, we already know this...

That expression is exactly about open minded weighing of the truth. It is saying "Come here with evidence that you're right and we'll update our science." You have to admit it makes perfect sense and is quite fair.
