1.0Why the alltime most idiotic, stupid and silly mathematics mistake was not the ellipse is never a conic, but rather was Boole's logic of 3 OR 2=5 with 3 AND 2= 1 Archimedes Plutonium <plutonium.archimedes@gmail.com> - 2018-12-11 18:35 -0800

Trouble is, Boole was an idiot of Logic as seen by his actions in going to school in a downpour without an umbrella and then shivering freezing in front of laughing students delivering his lecture and catching pneumonia, but the foolishness did not stop there for Boole ordered his wife to make his bed wet and give him cold bathes and showers, thinking that freezing will cure pneumonia. And it such a pathetic foolish mind like Boole that Western Civilization has backed the teaching of Logic. Any village idiot or 5 year old child can see in their mind's eye that AND is add and OR is subtraction. So the true truth table of AND is TTTF, while the OR truth table is FTTF. So, this is the most hideous obnoxious mistake in all of mathematics history and not a single professor of mathematics from 1847 onwards had a micro microgram brain of logic to see the Boole cluster-idiot mistake. Not a single math professor and even today in schools around the world-- Harvard, Princeton, MIT, Stanford, CalTech, Cambridge, ETH, Goettingen, you name it, it is this dufus Boole logic that is taught to students. And students, like some silent deer in the forest, just soaking it in, never raising any objection. AP

Math Failure Archimedes Plutonium <plutonium.archimedes@gmail.com> fails:
>Why the alltime most idiotic, stupid and silly mathematics mistake was not
>the ellipse is never a conic, but rather was Boole's logic of 3 OR 2=5
>with 3 AND 2= 1
Oh you need to see the Ellipse proof yet again.
Enjoy!
Some preliminaries:
Top view of the conic section and depiction of the coordinate system used
in the proof:
^ x
|
-+- <= x=h
.' | `.
. | .
| | |
' | '
`. | .'
y <----------+ <= x=0
Cone (side view):
.
/|\
/ | \
/b | \
/---+---' <= x = h
/ |' \
/ ' | \
/ ' | \
x = 0 => '-------+-------\
/ a | \
Proof:
r(x) = a - ((a-b)/h)x and d(x) = a - ((a+b)/h)x, hence
y(x)^2 = r(x)^2 - d(x)^2 = ab - ab(2x/h - 1)^2 = ab(1 - 4(x - h/2)^2/h^2.
Hence (1/ab)y(x)^2 + (4/h^2)(x - h/2)^2 = 1 ...equation of an ellipse
