When it’s written mathematically, it’s called the Dirac equation. It’s the
law describing a fermionic electron in an electromagnetic field.

Does the electric field come from electrons?

It is something whose value is larger in the region of any charged thing.

It is not something created or emitted or radiated by another thing.

So- don’t get mad- how does that occur?

The property of electric charge is exactly that: the property of things to
influence the surrounding electric field. If it influences the surrounding
field, we call that thing charged. If it doesn’t, we call that thing
uncharged.

It’s a property, not a stuff.

There is nothing that produces the “mammal” in humans. Humans are mammals
because they exhibit mammalian traits. There is no factory of “mammalness”
in humans.

Likewise, inertia is a property, not a stuff. It is the property of
resisting changes in motion. Things with higher resistance to changes in
motion are said to have more inertia. There isn’t something inside that
manufactures inertia.
