As the dangerously irresponsible Trumpkin Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke
toured California's largest wildfire on record, he proclaimed that fires
have “nothing to do with climate change.”

How irresponsible of the secretary to state the scientific obvious and
not chime in with you leftist liars! How horrible of him.

Only Journalist pseudoscience is convinced that CO2 causes "wildfires"
(formerly called forest fires) plus hundreds of other dire events.

Is "climate change" causing San Francisco homeless to shoot dope and
poop all over the place;

or is it Nancy Pelosi's socialism ?

Yes, the warmer America gets, the more it looks like crowded India,
instead of sparse Norway.

Reckless driving used to be the primary killer of our youth;
today it's reckless living/breeding.

The wealth and intelligence of a nation is reflected
in its birth rate -- from Singapore (.83/woman) and Macau,
at the top, to Niger (6.49/woman) and Angola at the bottom.

Most of the California fires were reportedly proven to be caused by
arson. Perhaps some radical antifa-type Lefties trying to manufacture
excuses to advance their agenda?

It was the commie leftist fascist power company (PG&E) what was paid by
George Soros and the Clinton Foundation to have limbs fall on power
lines and make wires break and arc all over the place and make people
vote marxist-socialist. Fortunately, a bill has been submitted to the
state legislature to make damages the responsibility of the taxpayer so
the power company won't have to reduce management bonuses and investor
dividends which will prevent billionaire sadnesses due to very unfair.

He's correct because it has been proven that
it's tree hugger liberal policies that resulted in
legislation that prohibits tree trimming and
removal that is the actual cause.

It requires all sorts of permits which are almost
impossible to obtain to even be able to trim trees
and brush back from a residence so it doesn't
go up in flames in the event of a forest fire.

Also, there is a stupid liberal prohibition against
even removing deadwood and brush on public
lands which further reduces the chances of
extinguishing or controlling the spread of forest
fires.

Again, it's a case of you ignorant, feel good,
libtard tree-huggers doing more harm to the
forests than good and then attempting to
blame it on somebody or something else.

FAIL! Chickens coming home to roost.

It turns out that many, if not most, of the California fires were set by
arsonists.

Unfortunately, they can't prosecute PG&E for lighting fires with broke
power lines so they just have to go with unspecified arson.

Nice spin and denial, but I read about one case where they arrested a guy
who had made threats a week before the fire started, and all of his
neighbor's homes were burned, saving his. If you want to blame all those
fires on power companies, it's not a global warming issue.

I went looking for arson arrests. Looks like there might be two real
ones. Some of the arrests seem to be based on very little actual
evidence beyond "seen in the area".

On the other hand, there's this:

<https://calfire.ca.gov/communications/downloads/newsreleases/2018/2017_WildfireSiege_Cause.pdf>

It the vegetation wasn't crispy dry from drought, it's quite likely that
the fire wouldn't spread. It was just a couple of years ago on a
severely windy night that a powerline got to arcing to a spruce tree a
few houses down. The lights were a-flickering, even. So, after a
while, a fire truck showed up, and then an electric company truck showed
up and me and the neighbors all went out to watch. Then they snipped the
branches away and everything was OK and there was no forest fire.

Search "Holy Jim Fire" and then at least one of the Northern California
fires that eventually all merged together.

I heard about that when it happened. MN only watches fake news.
