The real question is how much energy. does the electron beam carry. Odd seems to think that conservation of. energy does not apply to electrons. Needless to say he's wrong again.. ______________________________________________________________ How does an electrons that has a mass propagate through the steel enclosure of the bubble chamber with producing holes?

Dumf “there is a lot of empty space there I agree ! ” There are no cannon balls in my B.B. box- doesn’t mean it’s empty OR less dense. Smaller-scale materials have just as much energy. No such thing as nothing, children.

In Odd's world there are "probability waves in nothing at all" and in his world that is what our reality is made of. He read it in a textbook somewhere. And in his world matter is made of particles with no dimensions and zero volume but still have mass and energy. If you'd like to join him in his world, all it takes is some decent drugs and for you to BELIEVE!!

What you should never do is prefilter theories based on whether they fit with your preconceptions of the world. Don’t worry, there have been scientists in the past that made the same mistake, and their error eventually was well documented. -- Odd Bodkin — Maker of fine toys, tools, tables

Tell me about it!. I had a grand piano since I was a teen at my mom's place. When I inherited the place and went to sell it, I tried to get rid of the piano,. but no takers. Eventually I had to pay $200 for the movers to take it and dispose of it properly!. Even worse my dentist has a super high end German Carved grand piano that they've been trying to GIVE away for years. No takers.. (Not even me! I obey the rule now!) I went and bought a Yamaha portable electronic keyboard.. MUCH more sensible! Sometimes technology IS better! :-). ___________________________________________________________ Knock out!

No. There is no spacetime transform needed to run a mass spec for, say,, a proton or muon., _______________________________________________________ This post is about particle physics not mass spectrometry. Try another post.

2.2 microseconds for. a muon going at c is 660 meters. So for a muon only going one percent of. the speed of light, that’s still 6.6 meters, which is still much larger than. the few tenths of a meter for an average mass spec. So most of the muons survive the flight.. ________________________________________________________ Does not explain how muons got into the bubble chamber.
