The reason carbon, or nitrogen or oxygen want to bond is because there outer electrons= muons do not form a closed loop, a coil for the Faraday law, and thus they seek partner atoms to close the loop, forming a coil so they can produce more magnetic monopoles and grow the molecule or atom. The neon atom is a closed loop, a coil, and the way Nitrogen achieves that same coil configuration is by N2 bonding. For in nitrogen + nitrogen we have 3+3 = 6 and neon is 6. But a little tricky here for oxygen since O+O is 4+4 = 8 and we have 2 muons in excess. > > So, N2 is a molecule that in very much respects is an enlarged neon atom, albeit with two separate nuclei, but its outer shell of a combined 6 muons is a electricity coil similar to neon's electricity coil. > > So, what is different about O2, for it has a surplus of 2 muons. Let me sleep on this one. > > History Note: I think best, the mind, the brain after long sleep, early in the morning, than any other time. The Atom Totality theory arrived on a early morning of 7 November 1990. I do not recall when the Real Proton = 840 MeV, Real Electron = 105 MeV and the .5 MeV particle = Dirac's Magnetic Monopole, when it arrived. But I can vouch that the replacement of Lewis structure with Maximum Electric Coil took place this morning-for-me, today. Alright, well, I am still looking through Oxtoby-Nachtrieb and focused on page 572 of the C_1 p_x(A) + C_2 p_x(B) + C_1 p_x(C) which to me, is almost, almost a coil, electrical coil shaped figure. And if I wander through Oxtoby-Nachtrieb on Molecular orbitals, where on page 577 with the pi , the four pi molecular orbitals I see not just one Electrical Coil Shape but four on that page of Electrical Coil Shape. Then on page 578 I get a bonanza of electric coil shape in Fig.15-21 (2nd ed. Principles of Modern Chemistry) "The six pi molecular orbitals for benzene, formed from the six 2p_z atomic orbitals lying perpendicular to the plane of the molecule." Here I see another four Electric Coil Shapes, and culminating in a complete closed loop. So, drop, and forget the Lewis structure, and even, drop and forget the Schrodinger Equation of atomic geometry. The only geometry that is true in chemistry and physics concerning atoms, concerning molecules is Maximum Electric Coil geometry. That is what is causing a confusion of 6 versus 8 in Lewis. You see, in O2 we have 4 valence electrons in each O, two missing electrons to be like neon and so O attaches to O as 4+4 and that is 8 valence electrons, while neon is filled with 6 P electrons, and here O2 has 8 valence electrons. So, why the fuss, the squabble the fight over whether 6 or 8? We can see it in O2 versus neon. And the answer is that Maximum Electric Coil needs a full Faraday Law, of not only a Coil but of a bar magnet that thrusts through the coil. So in neon, the 2s orbital of its 2 electrons is the bar magnet that thrusts through the Coil formed of its six P orbital electrons. Likewise Oxygen uses its extra two electrons 4+4 = 8 where 6 of them formed a Maximum Electric Coil and with the two remaining electrons, they are the bar magnet thrusting through the other 6 electrons. This is how O2 becomes a Maximum Electric Coil, mirror reflecting the neon Maximum Electric Coil. Now, what I have to work out, especially, is how I keep the heavy atoms with their protons and neutrons in the nucleus for the Rutherford experiment, yet build the atom or molecules away from the nucleus. And I think I can do all of this, by considering that the electrons are trying to imitate the nuclear protons in a Maximum Electric Coil. That is-- keep the protons and neutrons in the center and only form the electrons into Coils. AP

Alright for Maximum Electricity Coil Top view of a torus of a helium atom where the 2 protons each composed of 8 muons and the two neutrons each composed of 9 muons forms a coil that is 8+8+9+9 = 34 loops. The two valence electrons= muons , one of those electrons keeps thrusting top to bottom of the torus composed of 34 loops. __ .-' `-. .' `. / \ ; ; | | ; ; \ / `. .' `- . _____ .-' Side view of the torus of 34 loops of a coil |||||||||||||||||||||||||||| In the side view we cannot see the curvature that is round of the torus And inside that torus tube composed of 34 windings of muons that form the 2 protons and 2 neutrons, inside that torus tube is the other valence muon of helium thrusting through the torus tube. So, what we have in helium is a construction of muons, 8 to compose a proton and 9 to compose a neutron, leaving us with 2 free muons as valence electron= muon. One valence muon is a Faraday law thrusting bar magnet inside the torus tube. The other valence muon is a Faraday law thrusting bar magnet through the outside torus tube. I suspect this is the maximum electricity produced given 34 + 2 muons altogether in helium. And of course the reason all atoms seek maximum electricity is that such gives those atoms the maximum birth of magnetic monopoles to build the atom into a higher atomic element. The same thing can be said for Chemistry bonding-- it occurs to maximize the electricity which is the same as magnetic monopoles. AP

Archimedes "Failure" Plutonium <plutonium.archimedes@gmail.com> fails: >Michael Moroney writes: >9:35 PM (1 hour ago) >>Think of a perfect tetrahedron sitting on a table. >Michael Moroney writes: >9:35 PM (1 hour ago) >>Remember, the four hydrogens of methane are identical, >AP writes: what is a dumbo like Moroney even doing in sci.physics, for he >failed percentages-- thinks 938 is 12% short of 945. I smell Archipoo failure. Is this the start of a new meltdown? Looks like Archie realizes he's about to fail yet again. I guess he didn't like to be reminded that for all 4 corners of the methane tetrahedron to be identical, all 4 bonds have to be identical, but 4 doesn't divide 6 evenly. I don't know why Archie is messing with obsolete Lewis structures, considering chemistry has moved on, to newer theories such as molecular orbital theory. Plus such things as coordinate covalent bonds, three center bonds and so forth often don't work with Lewis structures. Probably Lewis structures are still taught, and Archie loves to pretend he's a teacher, or a teacher's teacher or something. It will be interesting to see just how Archie fails trying to form methane diagrams with 6 electron Lewis diagrams.
