Actually, if things were as wonderful as they claim them to be, then
government's wouldn't need to consider mandating them, and then subsidizing
the costs in order to get them installed.

If they worked in real life as was claimed, they would sell themselves
without any need for the government to mandate, push, advocate, or subsidize
them.

No, "all this" is incoherent rambling and word salad. Not that we expect

I'll try to keep it shallow for you. Not so many facts, nor details.
I'll leave out the math, and leave out the science, and cost analysis.

It's easy. Solar, wind, tulips, dams, oxen all "good". Burning any fuel
that comes from the ground (gas, oil, coal, etc) steam engines, etc.
all "bad". Of course burning food is OK because it comes from ABOVE the
ground rather than under it!

Surely, kensi would be pleased to clean up after oxen.

Put a shovel the hands of a greenie and see how long they continue to
whinge about the use of fossil fuels.

And let's not forget that still doesn't eliminate the need for 100%
duplication since conventional means have to exist to take over when these
'green methods' aren't working because they lack the necessary sun, wind,
etc.

"Actually, solar energy has superb energy return on energy investment
(ERoEI) — 1 to 4 years, according to the US National Renewable Energy
Lab, or 1 to 2.5 years in Europe, according to the Fraunhofer Institute
in Germany."

(With a system lifetime of 30 years that would mean a numeric EROI of 12
to 30)

http://rameznaam.com/2015/06/04/whats-the-eroi-of-solar/

"Looking at the bulk of the research, it’s more likely that solar
panels, over their lifetime, generate 10-15 times as much energy as it
takes to produce them and their associated hardware. That number may be
as high as 25. And it’s rising over time."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Energy_returned_on_energy_invested

"In this study, which uses an insolation of 1700/kWh/m²/yr and a system
lifetime of 30 years, mean harmonized EROIs between 8.7 and 34.2 were
found."

The spread seems to be 8.7 to 34.2 (looking at extrema) or perhaps 10-12
(looking at overlap). Most likely the cause of the spread is mixing
older and newer systems when measuring -- newer ones have higher EROI
due to being more technologically advanced. Probably a fresh off the
assembly line one now is at least in the teens, and as high as 35, then.

SPNAK!

Lie. No lib is stable enough to actually OWN anything more valuable than
some old car. A house is clearly out of the question. Oh wait! I wasn't
on my toes, was I? Stooopid me! I jumped to a conclusion that Nads by
saying Nope to "rent" was saying she actually owned a place which is
obviously impossible. But clearly (coming to my lib senses) what she is
ACTUALLY saying is that she owns nothing and actually crashes as someone
else's pad. Hence no rent!

Chortle.

Just you watch. In less than a week the same kook will burble out some
conspiracy theory about George Soros. And he won't even realize the
problem.

1800 square feet.....think of all the pollution that having a house that big
means......and you think a couple of dirty solar panels will somehow make up
for the excess of energy such a home demands.

Most of the ones in this area are 3600+. Mine is also very modernized in
having triple-glazed windows, new insulation, and other changes to
minimize heating and cooling costs and energy use. It's LEED-certified,
and the only structure for miles that is.

When the outside temperature is nice, which is twice a day most of the
