Oh, but it is. It is everyones business.

In a forum that purports to entertain physics in a serious and
principled manner, the screwballs and freaks must be recognized
and weeded out.

Not all such psychos will present a glaring symptomology. Some
will be more subtle in revealing their flaws. Therefore, we all
must be in tune for those slight indicators of a possibly severe
intellectual derangement.

The advocacy of "supernatural" phenomena is one such indicator.

C'mon, Mahipal. Be observant. Get real. Be a man and not a defender
of lameness and idiocy.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

When you start kicking the tires of your average kook you never know what will fall out.

BJ used to be taken seriously here.
People actually believed he was involved in the sciences. Then I arrived. Then I started kicking his tires. Lo and behold! Look at all the shit that fell out. Everything from ghosts and gods, to esp and devils. It was quickly clear that bj knew nothing about science. He hates science. He hates the fact that science requires observational or experimental evidence. The things that BJ believes in and cherishes have no such evidence.

That makes him a kook. Obviously

Obviously Nobel winning scientists and the founders of modern science
are all kooks... well because you say so and "everybody" knows you are
right.

If we took your belief that if something is strange and not obvious then
it is kookery, then most of modern physics would be considered insane.

The opinion of big mouths means nothing in science. If your "proof" is
classified then I think it's well past time for some disclosure, right?

He invokes the Nobel Prize as if it is somehow significant.

The Nobel Prize is not a gift from God. It is an arbitrary award instituted
by a non-scientist personage who had lots of prestige and money. Big fscking
deal.

Anyone can bestow an award. King Phaisal. Rapper John. Or even the homeless
guy on the street. If any manages to gain acceptance, then so what?

Let him light some cheap Walmart candles and, with his Blavatsky brethren,
call forth the spirits of the dead. How about Elvis?

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!

No, I disagree. Btw, that snip was unneeded. Just go look up the word
Heil in your dictionaries. Mine, on my MAC, states Heil==HVAC. Blame
the dictionary, Harlow, and that it must be Tuesday, a vacation day
from the tedium of work. I just left out the '==' characters. The rest
is amusing. There's truth in comedy.

Purports? You may be in the wrong NG than you were hoping for.

I've been on Usenet since mid 1990s. Modern Social Media Usenet
Technology (SMUT) have made it a lot easier for even the inept, any
age, psychos to find Usenet. Sad that. Before we had to work hard at
getting there/here. O wait... TMI. Anywho, too late. He he...

It used to be only weird science ideas were discussed and the
establishment Status Quo types labeled all with unconvential
independent thoughts as Cranks cranks CRANKS. They posted lists of
names on websites and thought it cool, a public service. Good times
then. Most all had *.edu domain emails using their real names, not a
one does now. As crazy bird brain Odd Bodkin says, you'd have to be
nuts to use your real name out in public. Got someone to hide Odd?

Religious PotKettleBlack nuts like HVAC who can't handle their fears
of existence have been masquerading here since like, the year of our
lord, forever. Send tax free money now! Separation of what and what?

Only difference these days, modern trolls think writing four words or
less constitutes insight, wisdom, and discussion. Praise the ...youKnow.

> The advocacy of "supernatural" phenomena is one such indicator.

Fabian, you too ought be careful when accepting HVAC's pronoucements,
regards a certain BJ, as being truthful and honest. They are not.

> C'mon, Mahipal. Be observant. Get real. Be a man and not a

I have to defend lameness, idiocy, stupidity, ... afterall, it was
OneStone's throwaway now distant Einstein who stated these were
limitless qualities in humans. O wait... I see your point now Fabian,
it's limitless so it does not need defending. My eyes have become
blind, having seen the light! Back to the comics' drawing board...

Alas, Mahipal. You may indeed be correct. This may not be the best
place for scientific fulfillment.

But Usenet is so fscking convenient!

I registered for the web site "PhysicsForums" but it was exhausting.
I had to turn on my cookies, sign in, turn off my cookies etc., etc.
Whew! And they got adverts. And they send me unsolicited announcements.
With Usenet it's so much fscking simpler and free.

Wnat's with those dumb-fsck assholes? Why don't they all come over
here? Namby pamby wimps! Probably all scared to death of a foreign
and unfamiliar protocol.

Hey, you assholes! Come over here! Come over here now!

But they won't do it, Mahipal. So what am I to do?

My days with this NG may be over, unless I gets me some action
soon.

A highly controlled and censored group like PhysicsForums should be
right up your alley, Fabio. I got banned for life for discussing "the
theory of uniformity" in the "lounge"! You'd love it. All "forbidden
topics" are totally banned over there. They are so dumb they don't even
know that the theory of uniformity is now out of official favor.

So just what kind of "action" are you looking for? Boinker is about as
good as it gets here. "Action" to HVAC means underage foreign girls.

HVAC exhibiting clear psychopathic fantasy. Interesting, but of little

In retrospect I have been more often right than wrong. It's kind of a
curse. I hold a mirror to all the hyprocritical people in towns the
Earth over. Suddenly they don't like me for some reason. Hypocrites.

> But Usenet is so fscking convenient!

The count of individuals who are even condescendingly interested in
physics, that are accessible to me in face to face interactions is
near nil, so I ended up in this NG. Teachers at school only want(ed)
to teach from The OneBook, not really engage in any conversation.

Yes, many have been uninvited from the ClosedToNewIdeasCliqueCentral.
Real physics manifests itself as engineering, the rest is pure
speculation. Their tone -- SW driven or otherwise -- and writing style
is limited to promote their own version of physics. It's fairly
obvious when so-called scientists talk down to others when they open
their mouths with "We scientists believe ...blah Blah BLAH... and we
call it dark energy, wormholes, ..., not that you would understand,
but you will listen to me moving lips anyway."

It's seriously like that Vogon Poetry scene with Arthur Dent and Ford
Prefect, original BBC version, only with physics.

> Wnat's with those dumb-fsck assholes? Why don't they all come over

I gather by assholes you mean the "PhysicsForums" types. They really
can't go into unchartered territory before they pretend to know what
might already be there. They claim to know every minutia of the first
3 seconds to the polar opposite minutia of the impending gloomy doom
of the Universe, yet can't make a decent martini for themselves. Even
for product placement purposes only James Bond needs a bartender.

> Hey, you assholes! Come over here! Come over here now!

They are already here. They lurk in the deep silent muddy waters of
Usenet. Some resort to using fake names for fears unmentionable. How
do I know they are here all the time? Easy, discussions and ideas that
initiate here end up being hijacked, plagiarized without even a simple
polite respecting attribution. Assholes, of either sex, having any sex
at all, of any age! You can recognize your own thoughts and dreams,
not to mention equations, as official approved writers continue to
master and perfect the ways and means of knowing how to hide the
secrets of their sources. Success! Oye.

> But they won't do it, Mahipal. So what am I to do?

They are here. They're not ignoring you, they're manipulating
you. They operate in teams, like hyenas. Milking your very mind and
its thoughts, to claim as their very own. It's not paranoia, it's a
simple truth. They're celebrating that hanson has gone into silence
mode. Fare Thee Well. Silence beckons us all.

> My days with this NG may be over, unless I gets me some action
> soon.

Save your distorted impression of Benj, not really sure why you Fabian
let HVAC trip you, O that's right, HVAC is always trolling... anyway I
have enjoyed reading you Fabian. Fwiw, regards your other discussions,
most of my professional work life was developing SW for Unix/Linux/MAC
OSs. The consensusMongering marketShareMeasuring types haven't a clue
where embedded Linux applications are operating their devices.

On Usenet, everyone calls others names, especially when they don't
have one name of their own, so be not sensitive to such losers'
heckling commentary. Like a turtle, one must learn to hide in its
shell for safety and contemplation.

Did Everybody notice that I have been giving references to books while

Just the usual Heating & Ventilation tradecraft, Mahipal. He just goes
online saying what his "enemies" "believe" and assumes that all this
readers are ignorant enough and gullible enough to never question his
fantasies. Facts are things for him to make fun of. Science is something
to subvert and sow confusion among those who are not familiar with it.

I'd say old Heating and Ventilation comes about as close to a demon or
the Devil (who made him do it) as anyone and I do believe in that.

PS. Scientific study shows that Ghosts and "persistence of
consciousness" are NOT the same phenomena. No surprise. Heating and
Ventilation knows nothing of actual science. To him, only his fantasies
are real.

That HVAC failed to write a simple short sentence stating what he
studied is rather telling. My education's subject matter is top secret
and I can't even pronounce it let alone type its identifier. They'll
take my classification from me! So much Yawn. Only Hollywood Screen
Writers could do worse.

When others, like Fabian, accept HVAC's nonsense about his ability to
project lies onto others of what he/she/itself believes, and can't
deal with, I help out my friends Benj. All the best. I need go back to
coding now. My attention was involved in this thread today. Take care.

It's pretty obvious to even the casual observer that with HVAC back on
the march, even raking leaves is more instructive and constructive (let
