Looking it up is cheating! I expect you to draw on your own intellect.

Stated more precisely:

Suppose the town of Seville has just one barber, who is male, and every man keeps himself clean-shaven. Suppose also that the barber shaves all those and only those men who do not shave themselves.

Who Shaves the Barber?

A long Long LONG time ago, when for a haircut I went
"When The Future Held Hope" (TM, SM, and BMW) American Pie
Before Obomba Drones silently hovered throughout the night
Then when Venn ... enough rhyming... Diagrams parted screens...

So this Barber==HairCutter had a really nice haircut. His was very
artsy, detailed. When he finished with mine, I asked him, who cuts
your hair? Well, I was secretly hoping to go to his hair stylist.

He looked up at me in the mirror before us, proudly and happily
proclaimed, "I did my own hair!" We both smiled.

> Looking it up is what scholars do as part of their research.

Sure, how else are scholars going to find something to cutPaste or Plagiarize?

Answer: No.

The barber remained unshaven. The foundations of his society do not
permit this action. His beard, by now, breaks the Guiness world record.

Does the barber of Seville actually live in Seville? Maybe he doesn't, and just commutes to work... in which case, he probably shaves himself... or not!

I have a theory that the Barber of Seville is a tree frog.
Hence he doesn't have a beard.

Now for the serious answer.

The paradox exemplifies some of the problems with the original
formulation of set theory. As a result, set theory has reformulated
to not allow such paradoxes (i.e. the set of all sets is not possible).

So, in effect, the Barber is no longer around. His existence has
been expunged in the manner of terminating a character in a TV show.

most of Russels' paradoxi,
were simply ungrammatical English; in this case,
no tense of the verb "to shave ze facial hairs, off,
in the nearby village's barbershop

Yes, my own conclusion, based upon my more precisely stated second post, is that one can conclude that the original statement has to be false.
