So, let me get this straight, Google is a liar, Princeton University is a liar, and the people that make H2O phase diagrams are all liars.

So, everbody in the world except you and your fellow trolls are liars?

Did I get this right? Or am I lying about this too? LOL

I never made such a claim, and you know it. I said *YOU* are the liar... and you ARE!

Everbody? Spell checker is your friend... and mine, too...

I don't know... once proven to be a liar, there's no telling what else you might lie about, hard to say...

McGinn is trying to defend his ego, which is squirrelly, and vastly over
self inflated on heroic non-sense.

Google never forgets. Show me the post where I made the claim, or accept the fact that you are a proven liar.

Your call.

It's worth pointing out that McGinn can't get his story right in the
first place.

He says first of all that NO substance below its boiling point can be in
the form of a gas, because he is under the impression that the only time
two phases can ever coexist is at melting point or boiling point, which
is his interpretation of a phase diagram. This would then apply to
ethanol as well as water. (The simple test of this is to see if ethanol
can combust in the region ABOVE an air-liq.ethanol interface.) In other
words, the phase diagram tells him something that is NOT special to water.

But then he says that water is unique in this aspect because of the
special attributes of water and its unusual behaviors, such as its high
polarity. And therefore ONLY water lives as microdroplets and not as a
gas below the boiling point. In which case the phase diagram argument
means nothing because it is not the phase diagram that enforces that
state but the special features of water.

But then again, maybe only one of McGinn's personalities is making the
argument based on what phase diagrams and boiling point mean to him. A
wholly different personality is making the argument based on the unique
attributes of water. And yet another personality isn't making any
argument at all, but is simply flinging spittle and muttering "you got
nothin!"

Wow. You are ignorant. H bonds are prevalent in all of chemistry that contains hydrogen, including hydrocarbons, you simpleton.

Have you ever thought about getting an education?

In the meantime, maybe you should leave science to scientists. Fair enough?

Oh, by the way, did I mention that I am a physicist?

No, Jim, you are definitely not a physicist, and not a scientist of any kind... and since you re a proven liar, there is no reason that anyone should believe you, is there?

So, Google is a liar. Princeton University are all liars. And I am a liar.

Well, at least I'm in good company.

No, Jim, you're not.
And there are not three separate people, McGinn, Desk, and Tornadoes.
And you do not have a Master's thesis on the internet.
And you are not living under your own recognizance.
And you never learned what a phase diagram shows.
And you never learned what boiling point means.

There are lots of things you believe that to you are as real as trees, but
they aren't reality, Jim.
You have a mental illness, Jim, and those delusions are just as damaging to
you as hearing voices to burn down the bedroom, even if they don't feel
damaging.

I know all this posturing feels better than getting the help you need, but
you really should get that help first. It will not rob you of your ideas.
It will just help you see them for what they are. Nobody is going to
lobotomize
you. There is no reason to be afraid of treatment.

Attempting to argue from Authority only works if you
actually have some authority.
Without any degree in science, let alone in Physics,
you "got nothing".

[]
> Oh, by the way, did I mention that I am a physicist?

BTW, no, you are not a physicist. Not now, not ever.
Of course you could present some evidence otherwise.
But we've played this game before, and you never produced
even the name of a university for your degree or even
just attending classes.

Does your current employer know you pad your resume?
What a loon.

So, where is your reproducible experimental evidence that humid air is heavier than dry air? where is your reproducible experimental evidence that water cannot be a gas in the atmosphere at a temperature less than its boiling point?

You've got nothing!
