" And you have yet to expound what that larger EMR is. There is nothing that moves galaxies the way EMR moves atoms. " Wrong again, ed. I suggested Quasars. If a Quasar hits a galaxy, it will move, trust me.

So you are saying: On atomic scale, Atoms react with photons (EMR) On Galactic scale, galaxies react with Quasars Silly boy. Note that a photon is not an atomic nucleus BUT a quasar is a galactic nucleus So your galactic scale equivalent to a photon is the center of another galaxy. Your concept doesn't make sense John. You need another answer. ed

Ed One other possible thing that Quasars might be is neutrons being ejected during the process of fission.

Collide verb (used without object), collided, colliding. 1. to strike one another or one against the other with a forceful impact; come into violent contact; crash: > Can you explain, then, when the arms were/will be > equal, and why, please? I never claimed they had to be equal. I only mentioned that because (and maybe I misunderstand your view) you seem to think the arms are balanced, implying equal. If you agree that a galaxy can have unequal sized arms then just consider the rest of the post: How do two colliding galaxies not have matter and anti-matter interact? How do those magnetic fields magically remain unaligned. If you played with magnets, didn't you ever notice that if you bring two together, they tend to flip so that they attract each other "unless forced" to stay unaligned? you see those magnets as salvation to your theory, but they also call your theory into question. Again you have a chance to LEARN something here. Ed (capitalized for John's amusement)

Poor John says What I'm waiting for is when they find that there are exactly the same amount of stars in every galactic arm. ------------ Maybe that's true in the Mongo Universe. It certainly isn't true of our universe. You know, the only universe that actually exists?

There are proud Jihadist Muslims [1] such as "Anon Y. Mouse" <nobody@home.invalid> aka Mehram Maleki <clutterfreakincarnate@gmail.com> who scream "Allah Akhbar", when they commit their murders and other crimes against anyone who doesn't not believe in their gutter-religion. > And there are proud and devoted Christians [2] viz "duke" <duckgumbo32@cox.net> who turn the other cheek and forgive, as long as only others are harmed by [1] or [3], & they scream: "Jesus Saves" > And then there is <herbertglazier0@gmail.com> [3], who screams "I am a proud Jew with a Superiority complex & an IQ of 122", & "I know how everything works", & acts as a Face-Shitter to show his hatred as <http://tinyurl.com/The-Chosen-Graveyard-Vandal>.

Halton Arp made observations that were unpopular; galaxies with different red shifts connected by a bridge of stars, Quasars apparently ejected from much lower-red shift galaxies at 10%c. Red shift is not carved in stone- there's stuff going on there that we don't get, yet, which may influence the Big Bang idea.
