A gamma ray (everything above X-ray is gamma ray) of frequency 10^50Hz would be a photon with energy of about 0.4*10^36 eV (or 0.4*10^30 MeV) There isn't that much energy for that gamma ray. So unless you are proposing a violation of the conservation of energy happens, you are leaving a big energy hole from emitting ONE photon of that frequency. Care to explain where all that energy comes from? Ed

There is a phenomenon called the Dominance of the Personal Normal, and it is common among people who have a combination of low critical thinking skills and an elevated ego. In the Dominance of the Personal Normal, the convictions held by the subject feel comfortable to him and so are presumed to be "normal" or "ordinary". Consequently, any statement by someone else that is in conflict with those convictions is assessed to be extraordinary and supranormal, requiring extraordinary evidence to support. The key thing here is that it doesn't actually matter what the conviction is or how widely held it actually is. Because the conviction is personally held, no matter what it is, it is presumed to be the normal view. The hallmark of this trait is an inability or unwillingness to challenge one's own convictions; if it is presumed to be "normal", then why would it need to be challenged? In extreme cases, the subject may in fact simultaneously hold mutually contradictory convictions, and yet feel no discomfort in that, and so see no reason to question them. As a result, those suffering from Dominance of the Personal Normal do not develop critical thinking skills that are needed for certain pursuits like science or philosophy or law. The Dominance of the Personal Normal has many applications. It explains why many atheists simply do not understand why theists would believe the way they do, and vice versa. It is commonly exhibited in disagreements between extremists in political matters, social structures, individualism vs collectivism, notions about how natural things work. Scientists as a rule have a suppressed Dominance of the Personal Normal, which comes from reliance on objective experimental data, rather than what "feels right". Questioning one's convictions is routine in science, though at times even good scientists get caught up in their personal normal, especially if egocentrism is a character trait. John Sefton exhibits a very deep and pervasive Dominance of the Personal Normal, which cripples his ability to think like a scientist needs to.
