A significant shift in the system of ocean currents that helps keep parts of Europe warm could send temperatures in the UK lower, scientists have found. They say the Atlantic Ocean circulation system is weaker now than it has been for more than 1,000 years - and has changed significantly in the past 150: http://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-43713719 -- "To explain the unknown by the known is a logical procedure; to explain the known by the unknown is a form of theological lunacy." ~David Brooks "I get fooled all the time by the constant hosiery parade in here." ~Checkmate

Note how the great majority of CO2 Greenhouse effect occurs at lowest concentrations (2ppm). And Further warming from CO2 (which is ALREADY a minor GHG) is logarithmically less and less effective as concentrations go up. Why is this? It's obvious to anyone understanding the science. An examination of solar spectra clearly shows the problem. Only ONE CO2 band can be effective because all the rest are blocked by water vapor. And furthermore, that ONE band is partially blocked by water vapor leaving only one wing as an effective GHG agent. And even worse CO2 BANDS ARE SATURATED! This means that increasing concentrations of CO2 will ONLY have an effect of broadening the wings of the bands. This completely explains why increasing CO2 concentrations produces less and less warming effect. This is not pie in the sky propaganda. The equations for band broadening and band saturation are well known. Solar spectra are well-measured. The massive fraud and misrepresentation of CO2 as some major driver of global warming is quackery and pseudoscience at it's worst. The only thing this political "climate" campaign will do is totally destroy the public's respect for science. And once gone if may never return.

*still dodging* actually READING kensi pupa article;
http://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-43713719
kensi's article failed to show any real data for any currents,
nor do they reference any real data. it is FAKE NEWS
you get an *F* for Fail to *read the article* posted by poor kensi pupa
who is still just learning, but falling behind now, she gets an *F* too
for *failure to read*.
twist and turn Nadsie, the article stands as OBVIOUS FAKE NEWS,
your first link is only computer simulations, no real data, just
assumptions 1995
your second is *mud grain size again* nothing to do with magnitude and
direction of currents
and your third is more mud particle size.
SO AGAIN nothing about current magnitudes nor direction older than about
1960
FAKE NEWS, deal with it, accept the fact you are spreading FAKE NEWS.
