John, just as a reminder to you, the antiparticle to a charged particle 
always has opposite sign. A positron is the antiparticle to an electron, 
and it is positively charged while the electron is negatively charged. 
The antiproton is negatively charged, opposite to the positive charge on 
a proton.

As other kids learned in the third grade, and which you missed in the 
tenth grade, opposite charges attract. Always.

What like-charged things on earth would you think would repel each 
other? Go ahead, list the examples.

As I said, John, the DEFINITION of antimatter includes having a charge 
opposite to its matter counterpart. And as you know, opposites attract.

Because in a real galaxy, the not-neutral matter plasma would attract any
not-neutral antimatter plasma (if it existed) and BOOM!

Now consider neutral matter/antimatter, to make you happy.  Matter has
electron clounds making up most of the space of atoms.  When these
electron clouds from two chunks of matter encounter each other, they repel
(like charges repel) and we see this as matter acting solid, or at least
not allowing matter to pass through matter.  Antimatter-antimatter would
be similar.  However, consider what would happen if a piece of matter
encountered antimatter. The electron cloud of the matter would ATTRACT the
positron cloud of antimatter and KABOOM! they'd annihilate.  Now you have
ions/bare nuclei of opposite charges, which also attract and KABOOM!!!

This, of course, ignores gravity, which always attracts.

I think I've read that the matter-antimatter imbalance is due to 
CP-violating terms in the KM matrix. Now, why there are CP-violating 
terms in the KM matrix, I agree that no good answer has emerged for that.

Neutral matter is composed of charged protons and charged electrons.
If you have an antimatter hydrogen atom, it consists of an antiproton 
and a positron. If this comes anywhere near a matter hydrogen atom, the 
positron will annihilate with the electron, and the antiproton will 
annihilate with the proton. This is what produces gamma rays.

Oh, and in case you're thinking that the neutral anti-atom will somehow 
repel the neutral atom, no. No mechanism for that.

Yes, it does. Because matter and antimatter are not opposite in all 
respects, just SOME. To determine which respects, all you need to do is 
google.

Isn't it amazing that you think that your CONCEPT of the word 
"antimatter" should tell you its properties? Like, "Whatever properties
