Because in a real galaxy, the not-neutral matter plasma would attract any not-neutral antimatter plasma (if it existed) and BOOM! "Where's the Kaboom? There was supposed to be an Earth-shattering kaboom!" -Marvin the Martian Now consider neutral matter/antimatter, to make you happy. Matter has electron clounds making up most of the space of atoms. When these electron clouds from two chunks of matter encounter each other, they repel (like charges repel) and we see this as matter acting solid, or at least not allowing matter to pass through matter. Antimatter-antimatter would be similar. However, consider what would happen if a piece of matter encountered antimatter. The electron cloud of the matter would ATTRACT the positron cloud of antimatter and KABOOM! they'd annihilate. Now you have ions/bare nuclei of opposite charges, which also attract and KABOOM!!! This, of course, ignores gravity, which always attracts.

Everything that 'pops' onto our fractal plane are these 'spin structures' (okay?better than vortices?) where there is enough energy for creation of an electron/positron pair. They split into-basically-half matter and half antimatter. This occurs at every level. If you make entire galaxies out of one or the other, then, what? All their atoms and their atoms' atoms are one or the other? No more "popping"? Oh, right, you deny any organization smaller than some limit, or other, right? Just before "points"? Or baby blocks. Or whatever.

If you have an antimatter hydrogen atom, it consists of an antiproton and a positron. If this comes anywhere near a matter hydrogen atom, the positron will annihilate with the electron, and the antiproton will annihilate with the proton. This is what produces gamma rays.
