I once read a description of the chromosomes in the HeLa cell line (an "immortal" cell line from a cancer of a woman in the 1950s, widely used in research) and the chromosomes are really fucked up compared to the usual human 23 pairs. >As long as you don't get viruses such as >HPV or HHV, eat all the meat you want. >Once you do, going VEGAN is the CURE. Odd How can an electron be measured to have a consistent period of 100 attoseconds while travelling within these "shapes"?

I think you are stuck in thinking that the only periodicity could be had if the orbit was circular -- you should know better. You are also stuck in thinking that quantum mechanics says everything is random, so that no regular pattern should appear anywhere according to QM -- you should read better. -- Odd Bodkin --- maker of fine toys, tools, tables

An electron does go fast but a light wave is not a transverse wave since a transverse wave is a surface wave that cannot form within a volume since a disturbance within a volume produces a longitudinal wave that structure oscillates parallel to the direction propagation. A transverse wave's structure oscillates perpendicular to the direction of propagation; therefore, the structure of a transverse wave is a completely different structure from a longitudinal wave. Example, the disturbance within a volume of air forms a longitudinal sound wave, and the disturbance within the volume of water forms a longitudinal wave. A transverse wave is a surface wave formed by the motion of the surface but beneath the surface of the water only a longitudinal water wave can be formed. The oscillation of the air-water surface interface produces a transverse water wave by the physical motion of the water's surface in the transverse direction that is formed by the oppositional gravitational force which results in the vertical oscillation of the water's surface forming a transverse water wave yet a transverse water wave analogy is used to represent polarization. Also, light is composed of massless optic particles which conflicts with water molecules that have a mass that produces transverse water waves.
