The gravity into each proton has spherical symmetry. That linear, radial momentum is shared with the electron using the wave function. Relative to the electron, the proton has a linear momentum, and a Bohr radius is the spoke of the wheel. The electron does not need to revolve in a circle to get the proton's momentum from gravity.

Yuri " who got all them electrons orbiting atoms ? they didn't just all start at once! " Super-good thought. When has any electron NOT been speeding along?

A Gamma photon, if it hits a nucleus of an atom, can produce an electron positron pair out of the nucleus. It has never been observed for a pair production to occur without a nucleus close by. Protons are involved and the nucleus enters an excited state, near the pair of e- e+.
