#597688 — Telepathy drug

A new drug will come out enabling
people to
recover their capacity for telepathy.
Oh oh.
Then you find out who
gives a shit, and who's in it for #1.

Why do I think this?
90% of our brain is never used.
We're like a cell phone in an
old person's hands

the voices you are hearing in your head,
if one of them is the operator,
you got an old land line.

what if dogs have telepathy ?
all these strange dogs would be popping into your head telling you to do
stuff. What if they just barked telepathy wise ?

90% of brain not used ? no problem, you going to get really old anyway
and only use 10% then anyway.

Unless as you get old you figure
out what is taking you down, and
how to cure it- don't listen
to doctors; they get paid when you
are sick

So have you figured out what is taking you down, John? Little Pharma, or
something more insidious?

Shingled my cabin roof this summer.
Hammer and nails.
Fun.
Exposed my entire septic system right
down to the holding tank. Fixed the
levels. Covered it back up.
Shovel.
Easy.
Walk dogs every day. Temporarily lost
my keys today because I was running
too fast.
Figured out where they bounced out.
Perception.

Haven't paid a dime to
Big Pharma for 16 years.
No one has to.
Just quit eating members of our
own Kingdom.

What was your question Michelle?

I was responding to your reply to Sergio, where he wrote of the brain
(not the rest of the body):

>90% of brain not used ? no problem, you going to get really old anyway
>and only use 10% then anyway. "

So I'll ask again, and I'll be more specific this time:

So have you figured out what is taking your mind/brain down, John?

No, John. Either you are playing stupid or you are stupid.

While it's great that your body is physically in great shape, the same
thing can't be said for your mind.

The most obvious is the raging, untreated OCD. You also can't seem to
follow ordinary logic at all. Your behavior, at least what can be seen
in this newsgroup, is all screwed up. Illogical.

Why?

Perhaps too many "Little Pharma" products?

Or is it the veganism?

Or perhaps some underlying condition?
Maybe even one that "Big Pharma" has an excellent treatment for? (OCD for
instance) Naah, forget that. You won't give Big Pharma a dime. You'd
rather suffer in silence, or entertain yourself with "Little Pharma".

Poor Michelle
Trying on his high-heeled shoes,
he seeks refuge in Logic.
Point particles are LOGICAL,
he says.
That way you can have an
infinite number on your
point like thingy.
Wow!!
And Nothing is also logical.
Why, Universal Expansion has to
be going SOMEWHERE, right?
Why not NOWHERE?
You're SO logical, Michelle.

What infinite number do you think is associated with point particles, John?

Let's see, Odd.
If a point has NO SIZE, then ANY
volume should be capable of containing
an infinite number,

What NOTHING do you think the
Universe is "expanding universally" into?

No.

Because electrons are fermions. Look up Paul Exclusion Principle.

So that one being ruled out, what infinite number do you think is
associated with point particles, John.

What does this have to do with point particles, John?

By the way, and getting back on topic, you know that this myth about
only using 10% of your brain is utter horseshit, don't you?

Nope. Electrons are fermions, so you could have no more than the possible
number of (non-spacial) quantum states at any one place.
Not to mention the electric charge repulsion all of them would have with
each other.

of a repulsive sort, do they?
What are the dimensions
of this "quantum state"?
Can you draw it?
Why not?

No, they don't have "dimensions of a repulsive sort". Fermions obey the
Pauli exclusion principle. This does not happen because of a volume.

John, draw potential energy. Can you? Why not?
Does this tell you that potential energy is mumbo-jumbo because it can't
be drawn?
How about momentum? Can it be drawn?
How about temperature? Is that a real property? Draw it. If you can't,
why not?

Are you getting a grip on why "Can you draw it?" is an inane question?

Where did you get "dimension" from? Electric charge is a (quantized)
scalar, meaning just a number. Electric charge doesn't have dimensions.

Quantum states are also just numbers (integers).

In an atom, there are four quantum numbers for its electrons, n, l, m, s.
These are integers (except spin s which is half-integer). They also don't
have dimensions.

Electrons are fermions, meaning they can't be in the same state as
any other. All electrons in an atom must have a different value for at
least one of these numbers than any other electron in the atom.

>Can you draw it?

WTF? These are a set of rules, not a drawing of a dog or something.

You.
Don't.
Have.
A.
Model.

You have measurements.

Have both, actually. It's just that what physicists recognize as a
model, you don't. That's because you're expecting a museum exhibit with
moving parts moving and meshing, and you can't recognize a physics model
when it raises its hand.
