Now there are at least two robots in sci.physics. A robot is some computer program with man-handlers of the robot. You can easily recognize a robot post of empty headed posts, airy in content, and mangled language. I am about 51 to 49 in favor of closing their account. They sometimes provide attention getting, but most times are distractions. I suppose with 2 or 3 robots in sci.physics, as Sam Wormley use to say-- plenty of bandwidth, to let them be. But I can see the day when robots number more than 3 and the place goes to the dogs. Too much of anything is too much. The worst of robots, is that they do not really push physics forward, but are a parasite of the newsgroup wanting to do physics. Robots with manhandlers are really about finding out how they perform as robots-- not on whether they do physics. At the moment I am reporting the robots as abuse, but expect nothing to be done about them.

I have no mixed emotions about McGinn and other front page hogs, as that is abusive posting-- knocking others off the front page because the hog is around.

I would like Google engineers to find a program that throws a poster on the fifth page if more than 2 posts of his are in the first 20 posts. Software that eliminates the bad behavior of front page hogging.

cant do it. a message gets posted on one server, then it probagates to
the other news servers, what about 500 or more ? (the news servers
update from each other)

and google cannot take off a message on someone else's server(s)

what you can do is go over to another newsreader, like thunderbird, and
sign up to several non google news servers, and block who you want to.

From an antiscience person like Sergio, this is choice, because a person who cannot accept the science of Global Warming, how likely is such an idiot with his opinion able to say Google cannot engineer something.

No wonder Sergio hides behind a fake name and hides behind a aioe address.

What Sergio and Republican Party have in common is both are Antiscience, anti truth.

The News media BBC, PBS, DW and all others, what they are missing in reporting in this election year cycle is the fact that the Republican Party is in a spiral-death-throes of a party going extinct. And in such a climax of extinction, a party will rear an ugly head of a deformed leadership, not normal people for president. And so we have Trump.

Now why Trump, well, better it be Trump so that he loses not only the election but loses some of his wealth, whereas the other candidates have not that much to lose. Subconsciously the people of USA know the Republican Party is in decline and extinction and so, the last vestiges of money of candidates is wanting a Trump to lose his money along with the election. The largest money candidate was Trump out of the 16.

And let Trump say anything he wants to say, because we all know he is unfit and going to lose.

But the question really is, now, not how bad he will lose, but the question is, whether Trump cannot handle loss, and so, will he commit suicide. Will Trump take a overdose of opoids rather than face a world where he lost. A world where he dragged the Republican Party into a extinction. A party that is antiscience and stands for only a few items-- being white, being rich and buying guns.

A party, the Republican Party that no longer looks after, looks out for all Americans and is so, very much antiscience.

I won't get into crap like global warming or the foolishness of the
Republicans, but Sergio's definitely right about Usenet. While Google has
produced some truly awesome products and some awesome code, Google Groups
is definitely not among them. Google Groups has been broken for years and
they've _never_ even tried to fix it. I once commented that instead of
firing any incompetent programmers they may accidentally hire, they send
them to a dungeon deep below their main building, where they work on
making Google Groups worse.

Google doesn't control Usenet, they never have. Usenet was around long
before Google was. You should know that, you were posting on Usenet then!
Instead of whining about Sergio or McGinn, you should get a proper
newsreader with a killfile, and plonk! you never hear from them again.

Removing the ".spaamtrap" spambuster makes the From: address emailable.

If one looks at the average of all polls, Trump is down to 40.6% of the
vote from his high of 45.7% for Trump vs. Clinton.

If one looks at the average of all polls, Trump is down to 36.9% of the
vote from his high of 40.2% for Trump vs. Clinton vs. Johnson vs. Stein.

Trump holds no postion that the Republicans can fire him from.

Senile babbling fool.

Question: Is Trump bald, so bald that he is so vain in wanting to not appear as bald. Would he be the first president to be "so vain as to cover up his baldness" whereas all the other bald presidents were not vain and were proud of being bald as president-- Eisenhower, etc.

In other words, Trump is antiscience which makes him disqualified to be president, for if any president cannot accept the truths of science-- global warming, they are unfit to lead this nation. But as for being bald and not able to appear in public as bald is a vanity issue that suggests Trump's mind is a childish mind, not a grown-up mature mind.

So, what is it? Is Trump bald and covering it up with a toupee or wig? And if not bald, why have a overcomb of long hair? Why not just be yourself, not a childish teenager mind about your hair, indicates Trump is not fit to be president. There was a funny website that sang the song "We shall overcome" with the words for Trump "We shall overcomb" which again shows how much Trump is a misfit as a politician, for the job of USA President is about people, not about Trump and his goofy teenager hair style.

that is why she does not do news conferences,
	1. they will see she has a wig on
	2. they will know she has Alzheimer when they ask her a question.
	3. they will smell the liquor on her breath.
	4. Hillary is channeling Bill

look close at grannie Hillary next time, you will see the wig, and her

Excellent to hear that he's still alive. Perhaps he'll liven up the kook
awards with a Technicolor Yawn or two.

Allowed, yes. Wanted, no (especially not in text-only newsgroups.)

Address header fields whose value do not contain an e-mail address, that is,
the address of a mailbox (which by definition receives mail), and Newsgroups
header fields whose value contains more than three newsgroup names
(including both newsgroups in the Big 8 and alt.ALL) could be interpreted as
allowed, too. (See RFC 5536 and referred RFCs.)

But they are not wanted, as they go against the purpose of the medium.
Depending on the rules on the server you are using, this could even get your
account suspended or cancelled.

As a result, “Sir Gregory Hall, Esq.” (is that the real name? If no, that is
also allowed but not wanted) will enter my killfile, too; that is, I am not
reading their postings anymore, except perhaps in quotations, until they
post appropriately (this is done automatically).

You must decide if you want your postings to be read, and if yes, by whom.
Your postings are not going to be read by people who do not want articles
with attributes considered unwanted (such as the one I mentioned above) in
Usenet, or in newsgroups in general. And you should know that most of the
time those are the people who know what they are talking about, while you
receive mostly noise like that from “Sir Gregory Hall, Esq.” from the rest.

HTH

Crosspost (X-Post) limited to three newsgroups (for technical and social
reasons); Followup-To (F'up2) news.software,readers (for social reasons
only).
