That's his tactic.
"You've not been able to explain the mechanism to me without using math,
without requiring that I read something, or by using a paragraph or two
of plain and simple English. Therefore, the mechanism doesn't exist.
Therefore, my idea of spinny things is JUST AS GOOD because, sure it
doesn't have a mechanism either but neither does your physics. And who
cares whether physical laws are violated? Creativity pays no attention
to those constraints."

Yup. Mechanism already discussed in books referred to you.
You choose NOT to read any books, and so you declare there IS NO
mechanism because one hasn't been shoved down your throat in a form you
can swallow. And you blame scientists for this???

I think you have some major misconceptions about how experimental
science works.

First of all, you DO NOT KNOW that gravity is an instantaneous or
nonlocal phenomenon. A deity would have to be whispering in your ear for
you to claim this certainty. You can HYPOTHESIZE that gravity is an
instantaneous or nonlocal phenomenon. Then of course, the scientific
question to ask would be, how would that hypothesis be put to
experimental test? Because, in science, that's the ONLY way the validity
of a hypothesis can be asserted.

Secondly, the machine did not "behave as was expected by the theory".
The theory does not predict how the detector behaves. It predicts how
NATURE behaves. The detector is then put in place to see if nature
behaves that way or not. There is NO WAY to design a detector such that
it is guaranteed to validate a theory by design, and that is not the way
that physics is done.

Third, there are ways to test whether your detector is working as
designed that HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THEORY. Those are called
calibration exercises, and they range from test beams for particle
detectors to simulated events for LIGO. Unless you calibrate, you don't
know the responsiveness of your detector. This is basic experimental
method. When you have the device calibrated and you want to turn the
device on NATURAL signals, you simply turn the calibration signals OFF.

Anybody who doesn't appreciate these elemental aspects of experimental
physics is really clueless about how science works, and has no business
criticizing outcomes of experiments (unless he's happy to make a fool of
himself).

Hey, guys-
how come the travelling light doesn't
get distorted, also?
According to your wacko theory.
If light gets displaced by stars,
they're saying it is distorted there,
but when the wave comes through,
the laser stays the same, and follows the
same path?? One or the other, schizos

Billions. It'll trickle down. Europe needed
the work.

This is where you are wrong, you ass-kissing pinhead. We already know that gravity is instantaneous from direct observation. Newtonian gravity assumes not only that gravity is instantaneous, but that the gravitational field is strictly symmetrical (i.e., spherical) around a homogenous source. This is implied by the inverse square law. Both symmetry and nonlocality are what is observed. Otherwise Newtonian gravity would be way off. If gravity propagated at ANY finite speed, the gravitational field would not be symmetrical around a moving source body.

Steven Carlip and his crackpot/ass-kissing buddies in the kissass physics community can come up with some convoluted BS story to explain why GR predicts a G field that agrees with the Newtonian results but it's just a pile of foul-smelling bullshit from a pullup-wearing mental midget. The idea proposed by the ass kissers according to which bodies transmit information about their positions and velocities out into space is laughably absurd. But what can one expect from a kissass community of gutless swines?

ahahahaha...AHAHAHAHA...ahahahaha...
