Idiot.....I didn't say that. I said that every object is in a state of motion.

Every object in motion ==> all motion is relative. It's that simple,
   Seto.

Sam, bad pedagogic, your 1-liner.
It's not that simple. If it were he would get it.
If he sits on a bench and looks at a building: Neither moves.
Even for astronomers there were the non-moving "Fixed Stars".
Give it another Try, Sam, if you wanna be the teacher.

Idiot....in order to have relative motion you need to have individual motion. IOW relative motion is born from individual motions. Gee you are stupid.....now go and copy and paste some papers to support your absurd argument.

Whether you are in motion or not, Seto, depends *strictly* on the
perspective of the observer. All motion is relative. Even Galileo
   new this.

I don't need any other object to know that I am in motion when I am running.

Ken is already running in inter and or outer galactic space. Period.

Basically your observers are some anonymous stalkers out of nowhere.

Yes, you do. How do you know the surface you're running on isn't moving

I don't care what the surface is doing. When I run means I am in motion.

I'm going to let this sit right here and speak volumes about your 3rd
grade notions of motion.

And why exactly do you think that's a plus?

If you were in intergalactic space "running" toward me (both
of us in spacesuits), it would be stooopid to say that one of
us was moving and the other stationary. What make *way more sense*
is to say that we have relative velocity to each other. Period.
Saying more is a waste of time.

No, you need to learn what SR says. SR says that the projected length of a moving meter stick is fore-shortened to a factor of 1/gamma. This is not material contraction as you implied.

>So, as

Clearly this is an absurd assertion. There are zillions of muons surrounding the earth the earth cannot rush I different directions to meet each one of these muons. The correct description is that the muons surrounding the earth are rushing toward to meet it....the 2.2us of time for the muon clock became gamma*2.2us on the earth clock and that's why the muon is able to reach the ground before decaying.

It

This is an absurd assertion.....clearly the earth cannot be flattened in different directions. The muon is able to reach the ground because 2.2 us on the muon clock is corresponded to gamma 2.2 us on the earth clock.

This is how the muon can
