I have given numerous references to the scientific work done on ESP, 
Remote viewing and the like with many excellent books easily available 
on Amazon.com. HVAC prefers not to read anything so as to remain 
ignorant. I have referenced a number of Nobel prize-winning scientists 
who have found significant ESP evidence. HVAC who thinks he is the 
“moderator” of an unmoderated newsgroup thinks he's smarter than them. I 
have referenced government projects costing millions verifying ESP 
effects. In spite of FOIA proof, HVAC acts as if they do not exist. I 
have listed PROOF BEYOND DOUBT of a government cover-up of UFO 
information from the government's own documents. HVAC admits nothing.

So everybody, the ONLY thing that anonymous HVAC (whatever that is) has 
going for "him" is the assertion that this or that person "believes" in 
Ghosts, ESP, or the like. That's it. He has ONLY his "superpowers" to 
tell you what another person has in their mind!  No evidence, no records 
of posts, nada. Of course such “superpowers” would be ESP, would they 
not? Science is only about evidence. Religion and pseudoscience is about 
"belief".  HVAC has no science education and knows no science.

So the only question YOU must ask is are you interested in science or 
strategic writer fantasy. Make your choice.

These paragraphs will be repeated every time HVAC accuses someone of 
"believing" in something.

He couldn't have been clinically dead - he had brain activity sufficient

Many hospitals have quietly been installing random number generators in order to verify/debunk these near death floating discorporate minds.

To date there is a grand total of zero correct guesses of these numbers. Matter of fact, the people who have had these 'out of body' journeys were not even aware the number generators had been installed.

To sum up: Near death experiences are bullshit, lies and wishful thinking.

Harlow cannot understand why people are so self absorbed and so self aggrandizing that they feel that their consciousness should go on forever. When you die, you're dead. It's over.

True. You and H&V and all the other true believers here so say the 
goofiest things. Here. Allow me to show you how goofy and ignorant you 
are! What do scientists do? I'm sure you believe "scientists" read text 
books and attend lectures where they memorize all "explanations" to the 
smallest detail and then repeat them to "convert" others by "professing" 
them. This of course it totally false. Scientists search for truth and 
do that with experiments and observations. Hence only a person who is 
ready to OBSERVE experiments and OBSERVE and record phenomena will have 
any hope of actually seeing any results that suggest paranormal phenomena.

But why do I say "only" people with an interest in science (more exactly 
the scientific method?) Just look at clowns like you, H&V and the rest 
here. You all have an agenda to promote. Furthermore, you REFUSE to 
observe or even acknowledge any observations that might go against your 
agenda. In your case every fact must be censored and ONLY come from 
approved sources. Actual observations EVEN BY YOU, are not accepted as 
true. Same goes for HVAC. Even when given actual chapter and verse of 
experiments and observations (for example all the massive studies of 
remote viewing by the government with very strict scientific controls) 
he simply refuses to even acknowledge that such even exists let alone

test and observe phenomena and then truthfully record the results has

Repeatable observations, often with a control to show that the 
hypothesized connection between cause and effect is really there.

The kind of observations you are talking about suffer from not being 
repeatable under controlled circumstances. If they were, then scientists 
would have brought them into common understanding years ago, if not 
centuries ago.

Ben, you used the word "paranormal". Do you know what "paranormal" 
means? It means "to one side of normal" or "beyond normal". Paranormal 
is defined to mean that which science CANNOT explain. It does not mean 
what science DOES NOT CHOOSE TO explain. It means what science WILL NOT 
EVER BE ABLE to explain. And yet you want to make the paranormal the 
subject of science. Perhaps you can also use science to prove the 
existence of God, of angels, of demons. After all, THOUSANDS of people 
have recorded OBSERVATIONS of them.

John, "God experiences" are what they are. But they're not repeatable, 
as you say, and that makes them NOT SUITABLE for scientific 
investigation. That's why science makes no statement about things like this.

John, people have knowledge/certainty/belief about a wide spectrum of 
things. Not all of them are matters of science. Science only deals with 
a SUBSET of things we would class as knowledge/certainty/belief. But it 
helps enormously not to try to put things outside of that subset into 
the science bucket, and also to not treat scientific claims the same way 
you would treat faith claims. Science has a VERY SPECIFIC way of 
validating its claims, and dismissing those methods because you don't 
need them for some other things you do believe is neither constructive 
or relevant.
