  When NOAA claimed the "Global Warming Pause" revealed from satellite data hadn't actually happened, many people scratched their heads regardless of their stance on AGW.

  Now, the chairman of the House Committee on Science, Space and Technology, Rep, Lamar Smith, has subpoenaed emails and data from participating scientists.

  Predictably, a House Democrat, Rep. E. B. Johnson, played the "fishing expedition" card because Smith is a Republican "denier".
