He gave me an intuitive approach to help me understand relativity better. BUT, he couldn't intuitively explain to me how the speed of light could be the same in all frames of reference. I found out later that the reports of such are bastardizations of what Einstein wrote for his 2nd postulate and that they use the words 'observed' and 'measured'. I have no complaint regarding what Einstein actually wrote. I do complain about how it is measured (TWLS and the assumption used to set clocks to measure it). I find the argument inherently circular. It is presupposed that that OWLS is c to set the clocks in the first place to prove that OWLS is c. Long story short, it forced me to re-evaluate the foundations of Einstein's SR theory. And, sure, there is a difference between Newtonian and Einsteinian gravity but they share the fact that neither is correct. This caused me to hunt for what gravity really is. And it had to be compliant with my restructuring of SR. That proved to be a difficult task. I almost gave up. I should say that I did give up several times without a clue... until a stupid thought entered my mind. It couldn't possibly work but it did. It extends the defined into the previously undefined and it is so simple. It is intuitive to boot. In the end, nothing can prove it wrong except for a belief wrought in another imagination. Dare to look behind the curtain.
