Have thoughts that matter is adding to space energy.Hmmm Like its evaporating into space. Its a cosmic constant going continually. Its the key to space expanding at an accelerated rate. Its dark energy at work.I now think this will come to be the only energy in the cosmos in 10 trillion years from now. Bert, I was thinking about gravity early this morning, when all of a sudden it all came to me. The same force that causes space to expand (dark energy) is the same force that pushes masses together (gravity)! It is a great simplification!

IIRC General relativity predicts repulsive gravity.

It would be a wonderful idea save for the fact that it's 100% wrong.
Therefore I predict that Bert will love it.

AA That is the source of gravity its its dark energy for space expansion and gravities inward push force. TreBert

I have been saying this for a long time, now.
Electrons give off energy of the same
kind as the Sun's neutrinos, in the same
way, for the same reason. The
neutrinos from electrons are scaled-down
versions of those from the Sun.

Neutrinos from the Sun push on the
Sun's center- the center of the Galaxy-
promoting galactic separation.
Smaller-scale neutrinos from electrons
push on the atoms' centers- promoting

John To get out of a BH stuff has to go much faster than c.That is a given.TreBert

Neutrinos are everywhere by the
gadzillions- they go right through
matter.
Are you saying that they go right
through BHs as well?
Are you saying that neutrino energy just
continues on out of the Universe?

A black hole is a region that is separated from our accessible universe,
John. Anything that passes the boundary of a black hole (the event
horizon) is no longer part of our acccessible universe. This includes
any matter or energy that crosses that boundary.

Not "out of the Universe", but the vast majority will just go on and on
and on forever.

It's still there, it just can't be retrieved. Just like if you drop a gold
ring overboard in a deep part of the ocean. It didn't cease to exist,
it's there on the bottom somewhere, it just can't be retrieved.

Neutrino energy is part of the heat death of the universe.

What about Olber?
Go far enough through enough
"tiny" BHs, you have to hit one.
And like you say, nothing else
absorbs neutrinos.
So all of them HAVE to hit one.
UNLESS the Universe is not
infinite

What about Olber. He argued the sky would be ablaze if the universe was
infinite. This does not imply the converse, the universe having an
infinity of black holes because the sky is dark.

But there is no infinity of "tiny" black holes.

Why?

The universe has a visible radius of c* the time since the Big Bang.

(actually Olber was correct. The sky _is_ ablaze -- just that the light
has been redshifted to absurdity. The cosmic background radiation!)

So tell me, what is the angular cross section of the black hole at the
center of our galaxy, as seen from the Sun or Earth.

Since you mentioned "promoting galactic separation", now tell us what the
angular cross section of the black hole at the center of the Andromeda
Galaxy is.

While any neutrino that just happens to go _exactly_ at that teeny tiny
patch of sky will eventually be absorbed by the black hole there, what
will be the effect of such a tiny number of neutrinos that actually do
strike there have on the black hole?

Michael
Billions and billions of neutrinos are
going right through your finger
EVERY SECOND.
So- now- tiny amount? What?
If BHs are the only thing that stops
them, ALL the energy from ALL the
neutrinos are being stopped by them.
That's like 5% of ALL energy.

What do YOU think happens to the
energy from neutrinos,
Michael?
