Solar Power Towers Are 'Vaporizing' Birds

Rewire reports that during the test, operators fired up a third of the 
110-megawatt facility’s mirrors, concentrating sunlight on a spot 1,200 
feet off the ground. Over a six-hour period, biologists counted 130 
"streamers," or trails of smoke and water left behind as birds ignited 
and plummeted to their deaths. Rewire’s anonymous source said that at 
least one of the birds "turned white hot and vaporized completely."

Another solar power plant, Ivanpah, reportedly scorches one bird every 
two minutes. Both companies are trying to devise measures to keep birds 
out of the concentrated solar energy.

It’s certainly a gruesome way to die.

And most of those predatory birds are protected, so when they become the victims, the government will become very protective!

Except it is not; "green" power is getting a free pass for multiple
killings, one of which would put an ordinary person in jail for years
along with a huge fine.

I did a nice poem on singing birds.Its hanging in the Anaheim city hall,Senior center,and Fullerton's Civic Center.It gets to people's heart. Birds Sing because they are Free.I sing "God Bless America"and its way off in all of reality.America is now not free.Not for the people,and gives little happyness  TreBert

Well, obviously HVAC does really enjoy killing all living things, still, 
it is hard to argue with his logic that there are certain people who 
definitely "need killing". It's just that most of us don't agree with 
HVAC as to just who those people are.

As I was discussing with one of my sons the other day, the only reason other people exist on this planet is for OUR entertainment. As such, I only favor the elimination of the very worse. And even then, we eradicate them not out of anger or hatred... But out of pity and the safety of the general population.
