And maybe it is just a one off due to local conditions.

Why don't you haul an iceberg to LA with your barrel boat?

The wheelbarrow (note spelling) dates back to the 1st Century BC.

Nope, the wheelbarrow (note spelling) is mentioned in Chinese literature
from the 1st Century BC and depicted in Chinese drawings from the 1st
Century AD.

Barrels came before wheel barrels.Ice berg shape as a barrel makes it easy to tow,
------------

In Dublin's fair city
Where the girls are so pretty
I first set my eyes on sweet Molly Malone

She wheeled her wheel barrow
Through streets broad and narrow
Singing cockles and muscles alive, alive-o

She was a fish monger
And sure twas no wonder
Cause so was her mother and father before

They all wheeled their barrows
Through streets broad and narrow
Crying cockles and muscles alive, alive-o

She died of a fever
And no one could save her
And that was the end of sweet Molly Malone

(This part's for bj)

Now her ghost wheels her barrow
Through streets broad and narrow
Crying cockles and muscles alive, alive-o

This is my favorite version of the song.

In what H&V calls a "mind" this is what he thinks a science discussion
is like!
