I bought a BBQ grill cover from Lowes, it was very heavy for just
plastic, tested it for Lead and it was positive, it was made in china.
Lead in plastics still legal, it makes plastics softer more felxable.

Mexico. Certain candy ingredients such as chili powder and tamarind may
be a source of lead exposure. Lead sometimes gets into the candy when

candies. The ink of these plastic or paper wrappers may contain lead
that leaches into the candy.  People selling these candies may not know
whether the candy contains lead. You cannot tell by looking at or

poisoning from candies can cause illness.

Hevi-Shot has gotten the lead out of bird shot.  Even where lead shot is still legal, do you really want to be eating game you shot with lead pellets in it?  Not me.  I have seen the lead capsules go from the wine bottles.  Even my Wild Turkey whiskey for a time had a lead capsule.  Now it's been replaced.  We are seeing progress.

Were you letting the game sit around for a couple of years until the
shot dissolved?

Lead seals on bottles have been mostly replaced with plastic because
it is cheaper and seals better.

Any lead contamination problem is solved with a quick wipe.

We are seeing progress.

Bird shot is removed from the carcas before it's cooked.  If there is
flesh around the shot with discoloration, that flesh is removed and
not eaten.

I don't understand why GOP is getting blamed for lead in the drinking
water.  You need to take a look at the corruption history of the
region.  Note that the corruption has not gone away and is preventing
fixing the problems.

In Roman times it was the rich who suffered the most from lead.  They could afford the wine that was aged in lead casks.  It made the wine taste more sweet.  The perfect thing to drink at an orgy!  

Hard to believe lead paint is still a problem.  They outlawed lead paint back in the 70s.  But importing stuff from China, you don't always know what you are getting.  

I wonder how legalizing pot in California will affect your insurance!  I hear it's on the ballot.

As just about everybody with any interest in smoking pot is already smoking
pot, I doubt it will make any difference in anything other than the paranoia
