Will dances all over pretending to have something important to say. Here is what it comes down to fellas. Our atmosphere is continually charged with static electricity from the solar wind. This gives our atmosphere a net negative charge. Microdroplets of H2O have a net positive charge. This is generally referred to, or is a consequence of, H2O's high surface tension and the fact that microdroplets have a greater ratio of surface to weight compared to a body of liquid water. This causes/explains evaporation. You loons need to take note of the fact that this allows us to explain evaporation without the absurd assumptions that water turns gaseous at temperatures below its known boiling temperature/pressure. Loons tend to assume the laws of nature can be altered. This is the kind of lunacy that brought us notions like global warming, crop circles, Bigfoot, etc. If you bend the laws of nature to make the facts fit beliefs you are not being a scientist, you are just another loon.

Only the troposphere is charged, if it were otherwise radio wouldn't work and the charge would show up on an electroscope, which it doesn't. -- Jim Pennino
