What part of the consensus are you referring to?

β€’ "Warming of the climate system is unequivocal, and since the 1950s,
many of the observed changes are unprecedented over decades to millennia".

β€’ "Atmospheric concentrations of carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous
oxide have increased to levels unprecedented in at least the last
800,000 years".

β€’ Human influence on the climate system is clear. It is extremely likely
(95-100% probability) that human influence was the dominant cause of
global warming between 1951-2010.

β€’ "Increasing magnitudes of [global] warming increase the likelihood of
severe, pervasive, and irreversible impacts"

β€’ "A first step towards adaptation to future climate change is reducing
vulnerability and exposure to present climate variability"

β€’ "The overall risks of climate change impacts can be reduced by
limiting the rate and magnitude of climate change"

β€’ Without new policies to mitigate climate change, projections suggest
an increase in global mean temperature in 2100 of 3.7 to 4.8 Β°C,
relative to pre-industrial levels (median values; the range is 2.5 to
7.8 Β°C including climate uncertainty).

β€’ The current trajectory of global greenhouse gas emissions is not
consistent with limiting global warming to below 1.5 or 2 Β°C, relative
to pre-industrial levels. Pledges made as part of the CancΓΊn Agreements
are broadly consistent with cost-effective scenarios that give a
"likely" chance (66-100% probability) of limiting global warming (in
2100) to below 3 Β°C, relative to pre-industrial levels.

Skeeter continues to express anger. I wish him well.

At this point Skeeter is just begging for attention. He needs to improve
his trolling if he wants to keep the level he has. Hint for him and for
others who troll me: I tend to give more attention in the long term to
those who speak about topics OTHER than their need to lash out to try to
feel better about themselves. Some common topics for this group:

* Guns (in my case gun policy and research)
* Climate Change
* Politics

Of course that is not an exhaustive list.

What would make it so nobody COULD? Guns are stolen -- as are other things.

>> * Climate Change
>
> It's natural and not man made.

I would love to see you back that... keeping in mind that no scientific
body of national or international standing maintains a formal opinion
dissenting from any of these conclusions:

β€’ "Warming of the climate system is unequivocal, and since the 1950s,
many of the observed changes are unprecedented over decades to millennia".

β€’ "Atmospheric concentrations of carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous
oxide have increased to levels unprecedented in at least the last
800,000 years".

β€’ Human influence on the climate system is clear.

You don't seem to have a sense of humor, as indicated in your puzzled
response which I pointed out above.

This is, no doubt, due to your lack of intelligence.

Could be your mental illnesses too, though.

warmer climate means that the Dinosaurs will be coming back, and the
lush plant growth, and higher humidity, as more water will evaporate out
of the oceans with warmer air, and renewing the planet, greening the
deserts and arid places...

Water is the major factor in global warming, not CO2, which is why we
need to have a new WATER TAX to save all life on earth!

What an odd view... and deeply lacking any evidence (which is not to say
understanding the role of water vapor is not important in understanding
man-made global climate change).

That's not right as humans don't exhale water. It HAS
to be CO2 because we evil humans exhale it and we pour
mass quantities of it into the atmosphere by burning fossil
fuels.

So, the fairest thing to do is to tax humans. Tax them
by weight. It can be called the Planet Friendly tax.

And any human who murders another of the same of
similar weight gets a waiver on his own Planet Friendly
Tax.

What an odd twisting of the science!

Again, what an odd policy that would do little to stop our use of
ancient stores of carbon.
