You moron, you. The glass is a solid while the air is a gas.

The two have different physical properties. While the
molecules of the solid are *fixed* the gas molecules are
in constant motion.

This means that the air on the outside of a window
can bombard the fixed window pane molecules with
a new supply of warmer molecules while the fixed
molecules of the window pane can't move around to
do so efficiently. That's why the window acts like
a fixed barrier to the air. Nobody is stupid enough
to claim the air passes through the window pane
so why are you so stupid to claim the cold air doesn't
cause the window pane to become cold as well as
deny that a cold window pane causes the air molecules
bumping up against the pane to NOT become cold
themselves. The entire process is not like an
air conditioner and or a refrigerator. There is no
air blowing through anything like it does through
a condenser or an evaporator, you fool!

You and the Snitidiot are comparing apples and
oranges in your scientific folly.

All molecules are in constant motion. Until they reach the impossible-
to-reach temperature of zero kelvin, or minus 459.67 degrees Fahrenheit

There is one GIANT problem with that theory,
however. If there is no movement at all then
there is no way to *transfer* the cold so it
wouldn't even feel cold.

It would be the perfect insulation. A zero degree
Kelvin window pane would not be capable of letting
any heat out of the window or letting any cold in.

Transparent things allow radiation to pass. That's what being
transparent is all about. It doesn't matter what temperature the
transparent thing is at.

That's got nothing to do with what's being debated.

Since there is zero molecular motion or even atomic
motion at zero degree Kelvin then there can be no
forms of energy transference. Thus, zero degrees
Kelvin is the perfect insulation. It's probably what
keeps scientists from *seeing* or detecting alternate
universes and the other 13 dimensions String Theory
talks about. In effect, zero degrees Kelvin is the
ultimate barrier.

There IS no way to "transfer" cold. You transfer heat, you dumb fuck.

You can't transfer heat unless you have movement.
Since there is zero movement at zero degrees Kelvin
there can be no transference of heat to matter that
is that cold.

Absolute zero is a theoretic possibility. Just because
humans have not created it or observed it doesn't
mean it doesn't or can't exist. Zero degree Kelvin
is the perfect insulation because it can't transfer
heat (motion).

You are just to indoctrinated and your mind is just too
small to see the big picture. You are typical in that
you place human thought limitations on the universe
and the reality that is the universe. Even humans
calling it *the universe* is wrong because changes
are way better than 50/50 that there are many

I think you should take this up with Archimedes Plutonium -- a meeting

Air molecules hitting the pane would heat the pane up, and the air would
be made extremely cold.

THIS is the best way you lot could spend Christmas morning? Foaming bad
physics to usenet? If I hadn't already nominated Skeetard for the
Wollman for this month I'd have to nominate you, Checkmate, mixed nuts,
Janithor, *and* Skeetard jointly for it.

And here I thought you'd finally had your stopped clock moment. Then I

But, there would be no pane at zero degrees Kelvin.
The pane exists as it is observed due to the fact
that its molecules are in constant motion. Take all
that motion away and the pane goes away.

A Doctor of Philosophy? What kind of a qualification
is philosophy for science?
