Yah, that's really going to do a LOT of good when
the next big earthquake hits. People who won't
move away from the San Andreas fault line are
just plain stupid and they must have a death wish.

The San Andreas Fault has different names as it proceeds
north. It might not have the same name but it's the same
fault. You know, where the Pacific Plate is moving under the
Continental Plate. It's not confined to California, you doltress.

Pandora is right on it in Yachats. But, I'm not sure she lives
there. She says she does but the last time I geolocated her
she was farther east.

The San Andreas is a *translational* plate boundary where the Pacific
Plate and the *North American Plate* grind past each other, the Pacific
Plate north and the North American Plate south. Its northernmost extent is
just off Cape Mendocino in northern California.

The nearest plate boundary to pandora is between the North American Plate
and the Juan de Fuca Plate, and is a convergent plate boundary named the
Cascadia Subduction Zone.

Again, the dumbfuck know-it-all finds himself furiously backpedaling away
from his limitless ignorance. The San Andreas starts heading out to sea
around Marin County, follows the coast for awhile, then heads West.
Pandora sits over a subduction zone, which is entirely different. The
San Andreas is a strike-slip fault.

No, that's not right. There are two plates nearest to pandora -
her upper and her lower plate. LOL.
