remember CO2 is only 0.00039 part of the atmosphere the rest of is
is not CO2 => 99.99961 %
so the sun hardly hits any CO2 atoms.

I wish you'd give me a stroke or two.

**It's actually more like 410ppm right now and increasing rapidly. The
Sun doesn't "hit CO2 atoms". Yikes! I made a grave error in assuming you
had some scientific knowledge. I won't make that mistake again. I now
realise what a monumental cretin you are.

Points:

* CO2 is not an "atom". CO2 is a MOLECULE. Here's a primer for you:
https://whatis.techtarget.com/definition/molecule
* The CO2 MOLECULE is highly resonant at several infra-red (IR)
frequencies. The MOLECULE absorbs these frequencies and acquires kinetic
energy, which causes the MOLECULE to vibrate at a higher energy level.
This energy is transferred to other atmospheric MOLECULES, thus raising
their energy.
* Critically, the CO2 MOLECULE also absorbs energy that is re-radiated
from the Earth's surface at night. This, in turn raises night-time
temperatures.

You appear to be labouring under the mistaken assumption that just
because CO2 represents a small mass in the atmosphere, that it's effect
is insignificant. You would, of course, be wrong. Just as you are wrong,
in thinking that CO2 is an atom. I suggest that you study up on your
basic science.

Actually due to the recent discovery of both a linear and Triangular
form of CO2, there are more modes and the warming situation is clearly
"much worse than scientists thought!" Unless SOMETHING is done right now
to block the triangular form (from fossil fuels) it could very well mean
the extinction of all life on earth from the skyrocketing temperatures
and all of Trevor's predictions will come to pass!

Note all bands of "linear" CO2 are blocked by water vapor bands except
for one and it's partially blocked allowing only one side through. Are
the journalists here going to make me "prove" this is true? Trevor calls
facts "yapping".

As for Triangular CO2, who knows. Trevor's science could well be true
and we are all doomed.

Triangular CO2 is harder to exhale for some, the shape is different

therefore it gets stuck inside some people, and their internal
triangular CO2 levels go sky high.

This can cause mental confusion, like huffing into a paper bag for too
long.

ready to step up to the next level ? OK

google " atmospheric absorption bands "

It shows that Water dominates bigtime, if you have questions, just ask away

**Never been in dispute. However, the contribution of CO2 is NOT
insignificant.

IPCC report??!!!! Bwahahahahahaha!

That's like saying you need to read a copy of the Democrat
platform to learn about "climate change"!

**Yes, the IPCC report_S_.

Have you read them?

>
> That's like saying you need to read a copy of the Democrat
> platform to learn about "climate change"!

**OK, so you don't regard the IPCC report_S_ as worthwhile. That
suggests to me that you must have read them. Please give me a page by
page dissertation on the faults you have found with the reports. Hell,
I'll make it easy for you. Just stick to AR5. That's just one report of
the many published by the IPCC.

Or are you just accepting, like a yappy lap-dog, that everything Sergio
tells you true?

Let's see that critique of the IPCC AR5. I'll wait. I won't hold my
breath. You'll just blather and dither and no respond. SOP.

could try to drag him over to the spectra's in the infrared bands, and
how water vapor is wide and dominates, and CO2 is narrow, where the real
story is....

since he says CO2 is not an atom, but a molecule, which is composed of
atoms, 3 atoms. he should have asked which atom would the light hit
instead, the C or either of the two Os ?

**It's hardly nit-picking. Sergio has demonstrated a sustained inability
to understand basic science. Much like yourself, in fact. It is clear
that you and he require some basic education, before we progress to more
complex discussions.
