Milk, even skim, has 8 grams of protein per cup. And skim has zero fat. Milk is a great food source. We have a brand here, Farilife, that has 13 grams protein per cup and is lactose-free. It's fairly expensive at about $2.50+ per half gallon, and I'm not lactose-intolerant, so I've only bought the chocolate version for an occasional treat.

What I can tell you for sure is that the moment I got off of milk, the constant skin problems I had ceased. Had I known that as a teen, I could have spared myself a lot of unhappiness to say the least. I was already a good-looking guy with above average intelligence and a strong physiique so it was a shame that I couldn't complete it with decent skin. >>>Milk is optimised for babies, not adults, but, come on, it's still got >>>*some* things going for it... > >>>>Not only is it >>>>_not_ good for bones like they claim (it actually weakens them >>> >>>Cite, please. >> >><https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jamapediatrics/fullarticle/1769138> > >I saw nothing in there about milk weakening bones. > >I did see something about milk consumption during adolescence >increasing height, which increases risk of hip fracture in old age. Well, I can tell you for a fact that I was always taller than most people and I happened to drink a lot of milk. However, there are also documentaries that talk about it and they show a direct link to brittle bones being caused by milk consumption. I wish I could remember their names since I saw them years ago though. Either way, ridding my life of milk has been incredibly beneficial.
