Hansen's paper hasn't even been peer reviewed nor accepted for
publication yet.

What "dedicated human".. If you refer to Noah, then check the bible,
or Bud-Swine Glazier's "torra" wherein it says that Noah was an
alcoholic nudist uncut wanker. But archeologists say that there were
100s if not 10 of thousands of such Sumerian Noahs. So, right you
are, Benj. "Why worry?"... If EtOH & wankering is you gig: ENJOY!

Why do you insist that this research is doom and gloom, jimp. Why do
you only know how to communicate by calling people names? What's your
   problem, jimp?

New research suggests rising oceans could swamp the world’s coasts by
the end of the century—sooner than previously anticipated

My problem, ass hole, is shit head spammers that post off topic cut
and pastes from web sites that are arm waving speculation of doom and
gloom.

If you don't like my critique of you mindless copies, copy them to
news groups that are actually about "climate change" or start your
own blog and I guarantee you will not hear from me, ass hole.

In his book "Timaeus" in which Plato tells the story of Atlantis, the ancient Egyptian wise man in the story said that from the Egyptian archives of ancient knowledge they knew there were that there had been several great deluges on Earth, not just the one the Greeks knew of. (Probably one for each time a large asteroid had hit an ocean.) He said that those of the cities, where learning, culture, and records were kept, were killed, and those of less learning who lived high in the mountains were the only survivers. That was why all knowledge of previous history was lost, but still the humans carried on.
