Nobody limits a machine to just that. People simply want to be able to relax from time to time and that's where games come in. Considering how such games often also cost less on the PC, it makes sense to play them on the platform to save money as well. > All those who indulge in computer gaming should be locked up forever > in mental asylums. I'm not sure why but Linux losers seem to have a fascination with butt raping. It's all rather odd. The cost of Adobe is but a spec of dust compared to how much business, thus income, the program generates for me. The industry I work in uses Photoshop almost exclusively. It's also tax deductible as a business expense. How's gimp these days? The name says it all. -- You Ain't The Biggest Fish In The Crotch.

LOL! Also, no one in the industry knows anything about digital imaging anyway, because with Photoshop, one doesn't have to. In fact, most people who use Photoshop can't even differentiate a bit from a byte, let alone understand the physics and technology of color profiles. > > How's gimp these days? > The GIMP is only one of many image processing applications available on Linux. Most users, however, would rather write their own applications using either libraries or processing pipelines because THEY KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THEY ARE DOING. The Photoshop user could only say: "Duh?"

It will raise the green but can't raise the red anymore because it's already maxed out. So basically you end up with the red channel at 100 percent and green maybe at 50 percent or so. That's why you get orange. It's classic. Now go purchase a disposable camera more suited to your abilities. -- You Ain't The Biggest Fish In The Crotch.
