Pluto came from the Oort cloud into the solar system about 555 million years ago.Its mostly ice.The planet is shrinking and this is pushing up mountains. Its orbit makes it closer to the Sun then Neptune at times.A large comet kind of fits, but I like planet. Its funny that it captured a moon that is so large?? Pluto is a minor planet similar to the other Kuiper belt objects.

There are other things out there bigger than Pluto. If you let Pluto
in, you need to count the other big KBOs, too.

Gos resistance is a form of friction.Voltage is a form of pressure.wire length creates more resistance,With of wire helps lower resistance, and even goes with the a law.Know which law? TreBert

It's a matter of definition, and no one owns a word. The IAU has chosen
to adopt a particular definition, but that only specifies its meaning
for the purposes of the IAU.

So there is no way of giving an absolute answer to the question "What is
Pluto?"

Sylvia.

No, no, the real question isn't "What is Pluto?", the real question is
"What is Goofy?". Is Goofy a dog? If so, why is Goofy a talking, bipedal
anthropomorphic dog while Pluto is an ordinary pet dog?

Goofy is Vincent's older brother. The procedure had improved slightly so that
Vincent is a it more cognizant than Goofy.

Five Moons and a surface that shows traces of geological
activity ... what else is required ???

Keep in mind: the same people who voted for Pluto to
