Sophistry? Then it is CORRECT sophistry because our
resident physicist, KKKensington, continues to be unresponsive.

The reason is that a warmer, larger Earth sounds a death
knell to most of her dire global warming consequences.

1) KKKensington is no Ph.D. so she can't intelligently
   address this issue,

2) in order to address the issue at all, KKKensington
must first do some serious Googling and then copy
and paste a response together and this takes time.

HTH

And, you need to butt the fuck out as you aren't even
capable of building a deck large enough to hold some
patio furniture.

YOU are the dummy head if you don't buy it. But,
first check if electricity is available as it probably isn't
at that price. You might have to spend a couple hundred
grand paying for a new power line to it.

I see property like that all the time. Quite a bit of it in NC for some
reason. I doubt that there's electricity, but there's always solar,
wind, and generators if you want to go off grid.

From my experience up here to date, forget about solar.
The sun shines less than half the freaking time here.

Wind power would also be unreliable because it doesn't
get windy up here very often. It's calm most of the time.

A very large underground propane tank and a small
generator would be the way to go. Probably no more
expensive than grid power which is not very reliable
here. Idiots don't cut or trim the trees near the
power lines. They fall and break power lines all the
time. When it rains, trees fall, when it snows, trees
fall, when cars hit them trees fall, when there's
freezing rain, trees fall. Never seen the like of it.

In Florida the power companies cut trees and branches
away from the power lines religiously. That's how it should
be. Either that or bury the damned lines.

It's amazing how two people who fancy themselves as rilly L337 torlls
continue to spoon-feed hooks to each other day after day.

My power goes out all the time too. Sometimes it's a drunk driver on the
nearby Highway of Death (where bicyclists go to die) who plows into a
pole. Why is it that power poles are spaced hundreds of feet apart, yet
stupid drunks always manage to hit them, rather than anywhere between
them?

150 ft. About what it takes a really alert driver to stop from 50 mph
and about what it takes for a competent and alert driver to swap lanes
at 40 mph.

A drunk driver can stop in about two feet or less.

That's true, just ask Marylin Merlot who is an expert.
