I went to Grand Falls NB when I was about 16 and we just waved at the
guy in the shack. Same with going to Quebec City or Sherbrooke - if you
went into Canada, the guy just waved, when you came back, sometimes you
might have to say 'US' but that was it. I think they checked for fruits
and vegetables sometimes but that never happened with me.

That's the way my post office does it, but when people use UPS or Fedex,
they won't accept a P.O. box for my address. If someone sends something
by USPS to my street address, the old postmaster used to send it back to
the sender, even though she knew damned well what my box number was,
because I was the biggest shipper here until I retired. Fortunately, we
finally got rid of her after six years of everybody complaining about
her.

===3 I don't have that problem with my Fedex girl. She's prolly about 180
