John and his butt buddy BJ are the opposite of science lovers. They are science haters. They hate the fact that science has strict rules as to proper evidence. These strict rules do not allow for their pet kook beliefs... Esp, ghosts, remote viewing, and other trash ideas. John is just some clueless pedo with lots of mental health problems. But BJ has lucid moments which seem to go completely off the rails when the discussion turns to the paranormal. This mix of paranoia and delusional beliefs have kept him from living a normal life. Kept him from marriage and children. This has led him into the bitter and unfulfilled 'life' that he now has.
