john HVAC Good luck, man!! I mean it. --------- Thanks John. I didn't say anything about it here for months because i hate being sick. Absolutely hate it. It's embarrassing. I limited the number of people who could visit me in the hospital. Even my kids. If I was to die. I didn't want their last memories of me to be THAT. But the doctors were right. I've turned the corner. Tho I'm 40 pounds lighter.

Thank you ( hanson ) for making my life look more interesting that it really was. I grew up in Sao Paulo, Brazil, 1979 to 1981; I was 19 years old in 1979. There/Then I learned about the poor and the rich, and the silly games we play. Brazil is mighty, well and truly. What did Mr. hVac learn there, if anything ? ! He has _nothing_ to say about it. Ralph it's called metastasizing. The cancer started at the back of my nose and spread (metastasized) into my esophagus and then my lymph nodes. If I had done nothing it would have continued into my lungs, liver, etc. I have four doctors on my case. FOUR. One has been my doctor for 30+ years. They make mistakes but i trust this group. It doesn't matter now anyway. The treatment phase is over. Now is recovery and follow up. As part of my recovery I go to the chemo place 5 days a week for IV fluids and anti naseua meds. This takes about 3 hours and gives me a reason to get up and shower and get dressed and go out. It's good for me mentally. I think I'll stop next week tho. I'm doing much better than a couple weeks ago. I'm still limited in activity since I am married to this feeding machine 12 hours a day.
