Climate change is amplifying climate-fire teleconnections, or the
strength of long-distance relationships between weather patterns and fire:

Here ya go Folks! Nutjob "Kensi" and her fraudster buddies are making
their final pass at your wallets by actually claiming that CO2 produced
by your SUVs causes wildfires (formerly called forest fires)!

Patients are now firmly in control of the Asylum!

Just how stooopid do they think the American public is?

It's obviously just a short hop to volcanic eruptions being caused by
global warming!

Chortle! (Rule #5)

title of article is
"Climate change increasing risks of lightning-ignited fires"

                 how lame is that ??

so a 0.1 C degree rise over 100 years causes what ?

  "...increasing risks...." ? wtf ?

if you push aside the bullshit, you realize higher temperatures mean
*MORE WATER VAPOR* in the air, and things wont be dried out so much, and
LESS Fires.

...but it comes from Portland, whos slogan is "Keep Portland Wierd"
(and on drugs) city

they smoke a lot of dope-um there,

You misspelled "a 1.5 degree C rise over 100 years". HTH.

Hey, idiot, more water as vapor means less water that's actually wet means
things are dried out *more*. Yeesh, where did you learn physics, from a
living room cabinet stocked with Looney Tunes VHS tapes?

No, you're far too kooky for that. I'll bet they were Betamax.

Lessee... MORE water vapor (humidity) means that everything is dried out
more!!!! Wow! Go see Nurz Ratched and get your meds for today. Wow!
That is a record for stupidity that surpasses even your previous world
Guinness record which you had deftly plucked from Oz the long-time
holder of the title!

you are struggling too much, it shows bigtime, just accept the fact you
have lost the argument, and move on.

the extra water that evaporates into more water vapor comes from the
oceans, pinhead.

71% of earth is covered by Water, or did you forget that in your
smoke-um dope-um stupor ?

warmer temperatures means the earth's atmosphere has more capacity for
water vapor

http://www.gridgit.com/postpic/2012/06/water-pressure-enthalpy-diagram_244625.jpg

more water vapor in the air, means things are damper, including you-
even in your moms basement.

for your own feminist good "kensi pupa", AND "nads da moron", stay out
of science, ya'll keep reminding us how really stupid some sub-humans
like you are.

Plants are thriving in this wetter, warmer, CarbonDioxide climate;
last summer, in Seattle and Portland, we could barely breathe,
the smoke was so bad.

Rolf, was that because CO2 was setting what we call "wildfires" now or
was it because you were in your stash more than you should have been?

they call Seattle and Portland the "stoner cities", cause the air
pollution from the pot smoke is so bad.

It's "Bill and Ted" time there 24/7

Well, now that you mention it ... I'm a bit of a volcanologist in my spare
time, and I recall reading somewhere that there was a brief but intense
spate of volcanism in Iceland early in the Holocene, just as most of the
ice mantling the island melted. The effect was like uncorking a champagne
bottle.

Thing is, there's still a few volcanoes under heavy ice. Several in
Siberia's Kamchatka Peninsula, Mt. Erebus in Antarctica, likely some
unmapped ones(!) buried beneath the Antarctic ice sheet, and a couple
in ... Iceland. One is by some measures the world's largest volcano, named
Bardarbunga, and it sits directly on top of one of the three strongest
mantle plumes in the planet (the others are beneath Hawaii and Africa's
Nyiragongo volcano). And the ice covering Bardarbunga, at least, is
apparently melting rapidly now due to global warming.

It already had a minor eruption, in 2014. Minor by its standards, that is.
It shat out 1.5 cubic kilometers of lava that flooded a large tract of
Upper Bumfuck, Nowhere, and farted out a noxious cloud of sulfur dioxide
that rendered half of Iceland uninhabitable for months.

Your gas-guzzling SUV has contributed to turning Bardarbunga into a
ticking bomb, kooky, and sooner or later it will go up like the Fourth of
July and make 2014's eruption look like a kitchen spigot next to Niagara
Falls by comparison. That will pave over half of Iceland in lava and gas a
goodly chunk of the Northern Hemisphere.

You might want to think about maybe cutting back a bit on the fuel
consumption ... or maybe moving to Australia or New Zealand. No, wait, New
Zealand has volcanoes, nevermind. Australia it is, then. You'll probably
fit right in there. The British once used the whole continent as a giant
insane asylum, and to judge by the burblings of a certain "murphy", they
still (covertly) do.
