i wrote some simple physical simulation in c

http://minddetonator.htw.pl/collisions6.zip

(win32 app no malware, should work in linux wine too, you may check it with some antivir online scanners)

the problem is i get not much idea if it is physical.. here the 'balls' have mass proportionall to its area

i only hope that the velocity 'exhanges' betwean those bals are physicla but dont know how to assure myself it is? do it look physical? can it by judged just by look?

eventually.. but im not sure coz i dont quite write open source (for some reasons i dont want for example people to spoil my apps or stole some potential 'products' - hope you know what i mean, i mean if i made some big amount of work in working at something i dont want it to be to much easy 'stolen' ) ... but if some discussion would appear i could share some physical parts i also dont say definitely no, i would just need to think (besides it is quite simple to code if someone just will go into that)

and if you just afraid of malware its not - its light winapi application that not chnges anything in your system etc, just draws this lightweight simulation into window (also some may check it woth online scaner or something)

as i saisd i should maybe record some video to youtuvbe but i got no such program/environment

I use "Icecream Screen Recorder Pro", 30$.

What do you mean "as i said" ?
You didn't say it here, I don't think.

Can you (Fir) give us a video, showing how your code works ?

Are you using DirectX ?
What resolution are you using, 4k ?

I wrote this "mindless" chess game:

  Jeff-Relf.Me/Chess.PNG
  Jeff-Relf.Me/X.ZIP

I can give you a (4k) video, showing how it plays.

i got no app to this (also i got very limited network) [but if someone want to record and upload it he may do it instead of me]

no its no directx it was oldschool gdi bitter there (though as far as i heard you may do the same with directx too, ur using thirdparty libs too]

None of us are going to run code from a complete stranger, in Poland,
with no source code, nor video.

its really no malware.. ask bartc form comp.lang.c he was runing my apps

i understand the reserve from runing such code but if some would do that rest could do that more safely, besides

1) foirst of all its not malware, i dont lie..
2) you can scan it with antyvir app/online scanner (im not sure if this gives 100% safety but means something)
3) you could run it (probably) on windows guest account - in such account application as far as i know cant write/delete files that it dont created (and this i think gives routghly 100% quarantees) (im not sure as to this im not a specialist in that field)
4) you may run it on wine or some wirtual machine (many people use such things)

then if you will run it you may record the video and put it on youtube - this is simple not much impressing visually simulation but it runs smoothly and has interesting behaviour - and i hardly wonder if its physical

it works on resizable window, you may also turn it full screen - but i never
resized it more than HD, on 4k it may slow very much as its a lot of ram to copy each frame - try it and tell me if it works 4k

really in your situation i probably will
do that online antyvir scaning, if youre more paranoid download it (its small ap ciompiled by mingw) log out into this guest account (in that account user my create files buy you will not delete them) and run it from there (some apps dont work on guest account im not sure if mine do, but probably it should work ok)

ye i checked it works on guest

and - good news you dont even need to log out your admin privilage account (i forgot it as i use guest once a 5 years)
just press WIN+L selec guest (and try to delete some file from there )other one than one you created there) you will se you cant, it gives sufficiently big doze of security )

You should be the one doing the video,
so you can explain it in _ your own words.

so in turn i dont answer your questions, sorry - i dont belive you could say something valueable on point anyway (as it probably neede some somewhat better orientation in physics of collisions)

Why not to discuss rather particular formulas used in the
simulation , if they follow the theory right or not
 ?

Physical laws are not a subject of copyright to be stolen and
formulas cannot be blamed nor feared to hack others.

Not perfect, but easy, cheap and dirty way to get a video from
 the application output
Is to catch the screen by smartphone video recording or taking
 screenshots.

People do not like running code from individuals they do not
 know(good practice),
no matter how well behaving they are, or say they are.
