Last Friday, I discovered that someone had chopped up
the heating element in one of the big ovens.
Crazy shit happens here, in my rooming house... .

So I went on Amazon, found a replacement part, easily;
they're _really_ good at giving me the right options,
even when I can't properly spell it out ( no model # ).

Plenty of high quality comments confirmed my choice;
WalMart can't compete, its customers aren't as literate.
Google can't compete.

I paid 15$ after 10% tax, free shipping, Pennsylvania to Seattle;
it arrived yesterday, Monday, over the weekend, sans "Prime";
it works great ! !

Google, MicroSoft and Apple are sitting on a mountain of cash;
they don't know where to spend it; Amazon has no such problems.

I just activated my new Walmart credit card this morning. As you have said, a Walmart card could be convenient!

Maybe. Here's the problem AA. I wanted to buy a router. So I go online
and lo, I find that walmart sells the model I'm looking for. Internet
says they even have it at the local store. So I buzz over there. Go in
to the TV department and start asking about the router. Well, I might as
well have been asking to buy a food replicator because it seemed nobody
working there had a clue what a router was or where one might be found
in stock. Oh well. Welcome to modern life.

PS. OF course local computer store knew what a router was and had a big
bunch for sale. Only problem was they all had about 15 antennas on them
(I didn't want wifi) and cost like $300 each!

I'm surprised they didn't send you to the power tool department.

At a Walmart store, I had to look a _long_ time before I found
anyone who knew something, and could speak English;
it was a 80 year old man. Their WebSite is just as bad.

I just bought the ASUS ROG AC5300 Router, Quad Core CPU,
8 MU-MIMO antennas, and 8 LAN Ports; 425$, after 10% tax, Amazon;
16,573 customer reviews, 1,000+ answered questions.

Good for you, but irrelevant for these news groups...
