Statewide assessment, which comes amid summer of extreme wildfires, warns of deadly cost if climate change is not stopped. California’s summer of deadly wildfires and dangerous heatwaves will soon be the new normal if nothing is done to stop climate change: https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2018/aug/27/california-climate-change-report-wildfires-jerry-brown -- "To explain the unknown by the known is a logical procedure; to explain the known by the unknown is a form of theological lunacy." ~David Brooks "I get fooled all the time by the constant hosiery parade in here." ~Checkmate

Fires are getting better. The fire seasons are longer and more acres burn. Fires make up for the 90,000 jobs that are lost every year as corporations that move manufacturing jobs off shore. If California doesn't get more fires every year, USA America won't win and become great again which will dishonor The President who is an amazing winner and is making Americans tired of winning so much. -- Grizzly H.

The fire seasons are longer and more acres > burn. Sure, but that is primarily due to arson, increased habitation, increased use of unsuitable landscaping plants that pose an increased fire risk, failure to allow natural/controlled burns, increased brush density, environmentalists preventing land management thus increasing the probability and severity of fires when they occur, redirecting water into sealed storm sewers and such which prevents it from soaking into the ground as much increasing overall ground moisture and raising the aquifer. But hey.....let's ignore the facts and blame it on climate change, it a simple mindless issue to which we can produce irrelevant solutions while ignoring the actual cause. The best part when our 'solution' doesn't work we can simply claim that we just not doing enough of the same useless solution. >Fires make up for the 90,000 jobs that are lost every year as corporations >that move manufacturing jobs off shore. And oddly under Trump those manufacturing jobs are moving back onshore. But hey, if you hate Trump then you can't acknowledge that simple fact.

Jobs are moving off shore at at the best rate possible. Trump worked very hard to increase employment in China, for example, because China is investing in Trump branded resorts and theme parks and China people need some extra money to go there and enjoy the famous amenities Trump is known for (i.e. very soft TP, taco bowls). Sadly, only 20k jobs can be credited to his efforts since the election, but his amazing tariffs are expected to result in rapid increases in job exports as US manufacturers adjust to new trade barriers designed to make international billionaires very very happy (Canada people can sell more potatoes and Brazil can sell more soy beans and hard working American farmers can finally get some time off to go golfing at beautiful Trump-branded golf resorts around the world. or example). If that ain't awesome, I don't know what is. -- Grizzly H.

If only we can get "Kensi" and Nads to visit Kalifornia for a huge leftist "occupy Kalifornia" event and then have climate change sink the whole damn stinking shithole with all the lefties riding it down cheering. That would be much better than scientists predicted.
