Seems like scripting RAW manipulations... pretty standard stuff. Tell me, why should a brain surgeon need to know how an operating system works? Why on earth would he waste his time on that stuff? He *uses* the computer to save lives. He expects it to provide and process information. So do you need to know how a microwave oven works in order to pop popcorn? And what advantage does it provide you if you do?
